I think if its late you should acompany the girl regardless of whatever her relationship is with you home, cause you are out with her till late and so its ur responsibilty tat she reaches home safely.

accompany her home la..wats e big deal? if u have something on early e next morn,then try to go back earlier if u two are going out.but let's say u are just fetching her home...then next day morn got thing also bo bian.girls are girls...no matter how independent they may seem,they still yearn for protection and company.
actually,when i was chasing my gf,i never bothered to accompany her home or even ask if she needs me to.i'm just plain selfish and ungentleman.but after one incident,she told me off.i started to change for her.she became my gf afterwards...since then,no matter early like 5pm or late like 11pm,i still walk her home.
it has become part and parcel of my duty as a bf.she will appreciate it alot definitely! cos her house there having construction,a condo actually.so got quite alot of bangala workers hanging around at nite from 7pm onwards.thats how scary! somemore they sit in a group and always stare at girls.in e morn when she goes to sch,i cant be there for her.

i think no matter whatever the situation, boyfriend should escort her girlfriend home right to the doorstep. anything bad can just happen just round a corner. regardless of whether robbery, rape or etc, it can take place at any time of the day or night so don't think that it is safe when it is broad daylight. it can be still very dangerous.
if your girlfriend doesn't want you to accompany her to the doorstep, the next safest thing which you can do is to watch her enter her home safely from a close distance. remember that you can only leave after she has entered her home and locked her door. -

Actually i dun have the habit of sending my gf home. its only when its early around 8pm tt i send her home. she scold me sial. she say 8+pm i send her home, 11+pm (when its more dangerous) i dun send. we are having a little tiff now. she say i sending her home for the sake of it. cos the main purpose is to ensure her safety yet the later the time is, i wont send her back.
