  hmmm...i heard also. but ok lah. if you don't think that cleaning toilet n vomit is gross is ok lor. air stewards also do the same job as stewardesses...

  there are ground cleaners....as in...when flight touch down...then they go up and do surface clean-up....these are usually from contract companies and i doubt all airlines engage them...
  
  so, it's the kong zhong xiao jie and kong zhong shao ye who do all that....
  
  so.....they are cleaners-cum-waitress...
  
  maybe XLN can look into this field....

  for SQ i know they do have ground staff to do the clean up when the plain touches down and after all the passengers leave.

  veri common mah. british airways employs aunties for air stewardess. they noe how to take care, handle and pacify customers of all ages mah. they can even serve as midwives if need be.
