to KrU & looksee: Thanks for the encouragement, i'll most probably go for it. i've wanted to be an air stewardess for a long time. i think since the first time i got onto a plane when i was....4 or 5 i think.

[color=red][size=large]I was on that Scandinavian one a few years back ! I thought the plane was old ( DC-10 i guess ) !
Until I was in the cabin .....the plane was not too old , the stewardess was ! I was served by a Blonde Aunite good enough to be my Granny ! I looked around , and i think the youngest I could spot is one Blonde around the age of 35 ! -

ya i agree with you saying that some of them shouldn't smoke right outside the airport. very...unsightly. even tho i smoke now n then too. they should at least change out of their uniforms b4 lighting up...

well i heard that the critera now is have to be 1.6 and above.
they dun realli go for looks. as long as you are average and you look voluptous in the kebaya can liao... tat explains why now the SQ gers are so average looking... and i heard that the fitting of the kebaya is done with the girls wearing maximisers... and hence they can onli wear such bras when wearing the kebaya. -

wat's more impt is that u stand by your principles..
another warning is that in SQ, rank-play is practised.. u may get bullied initially..
anyway, SQ services are not that bad.. they do emphasise on service quality too.. -
ya i got an SQ stewardess fren mah....everything she also particular about..hair-do, make up and the way she walks and dress....suits her la..she is the vain kind. haha

i gt 4 frens go be air stewardess.after graduate....all of them ah lians...
all v pretty ....one or two nt tat tall maybe 160 lidat....sometimes i see in airport 1 nt SIA 1 dono china air line....nt so chio...n quite old 1 ...lau chio... bt v frenly keep smiling 1

mostly why Western Airlines still have auntie's for air stewardess is becoz they believe that if they can still work. why bother to replace them. plus with the experience that they have, they can serve better. SQ wants to upkeep the image that the gals in kebaya will always be pretty and all and hence after a while, they will be pushed to be ground staff liao
