when i was in Sec 4, they did check me. at Sec 4, the girls dun get checked "intimately" other than unbuttoning their blouse.
but in sec 2, random girls have their boobs (if any) and pubes check.

I have gone thru several such bosy checks, but i think now not the same.
Pri school: Once, check ur private part and all (They will touch themselves)
Sec school: Once, private parts also checked. (They will not touch ur privates, you will do according to their instructions.) Thats when the female doc ask me to pull more often (dunno what she meant at that time)
Army: Once, cough and see the jerk, no touch. -
During the check in pri school, was still ignorant and didn't know the skin can be pull back. When the nurse ask me to pull I just stare and give her the "huh?" look. She a bit pissed and pull back for me....after that I cried like mad. Sheesh.
