a lotta schools often make use of "physical training" as punishment.....
make students run.....sweep basketball courts......wash science lab.......
doing all these will make the students realise why they are wrong and learn from it? -

Normal 2.4km timing is around 10 - 13mins. avg 12mins.
Running 2.4km which is 6 times around a 400m track, add in the 12 mins, add in passing of the ball each round(each 5 metres you pass the ball= 400/5 = 80times x 3 secs to pass the ball = 240secs/60=4mins x 6 rounds of the track = 24mins) add 24mins = total running time will be 30mins at full speed.
Realistically, it would take 45mins. -

The PE instructor or principle must come from Detention Barracks because that is what the prisoners do in DB. I also heard of another punnishment where students had to do bunny hops around the track and hum the theme song of the smurfs at the same time.

My Seconday School does that passing Medicine Ball punishment, my friend ran 20 rounds around the field because the stupid teacher lost count.
Most innovative punishment I ever received was during Secondary One. Our class was far too noisy when moving around and the Discipline Teacher made us walk in " Caterpillar " style. We would stand in one straight line hands on each others shoulder and walk around the Parade Square quietly without any noises like talking and dragging of foots. Any noises and we would start all over again. We did that after school for about 2 weeks and we were in the Afternoon Session that time, imgaine how late we got home everyday. Anyway, our class is still as noisy as ever.

heard dat a particular jc punished 2guys who came late twice.
1st guy was ask to run 6rounds around the track......backwards.
2nd guy.. PE teacher came. took 2 10cent coins from his pocket, tossed it onto the football field and ask the boy to look for it.
