wah wich sec sch u frm?Originally posted by Ayukat:My Seconday School does that passing Medicine Ball punishment, my friend ran 20 rounds around the field because the stupid teacher lost count. Most innovative punishment I ever received was during Secondary One. Our class was far too noisy when moving around and the Discipline Teacher made us walk in " Caterpillar " style. We would stand in one straight line hands on each others shoulder and walk around the Parade Square quietly without any noises like talking and dragging of foots. Any noises and we would start all over again. We did that after school for about 2 weeks and we were in the Afternoon Session that time, imgaine how late we got home everyday. Anyway, our class is still as noisy as ever.

weird. i would imagine its the upper sec students who would cause more trouble.Originally posted by Ayukat:Cannot tell, but its a damn stupid Secondary School where the Discipline Teachers like to pick on Lower Seconday students. The first day of PE for the Seconday Ones are usually hell. I remembered dropping my shoes on the muddly field that damn day.![]()
haha principal must be a smurfs fan lah... i heard one is... late comer will have to spend one day in sch without of side of their shoe.. just to make them feel stupid...Originally posted by CenturionMBT:I also heard of another punnishment where students had to do bunny hops around the track and hum the theme song of the smurfs at the same time.

i agree tt unreasonable and non-sensical punishments shud not be condoned. however i am against going to the media wif such things. u can make ur point wif the principal, if not then ur MP or MOE. but going to the media is not going to help much more than traumatise the school, the teachers and the students.Originally posted by PachelbeL_20:wonder if such innovative punishments are approved by the ministry of education? i will like to urge students who are subjected to unfair punishments to bring the case to your parents rather than suffer in silence with your dignity being taken away. Make a big noise and let the media know abt it. Personally I heard of very cruel and nonsense punishments given to students. A teacher's task is to educate, not to satisfy his own sadistic fantasy. A punishment's purpose is to educate too, therefore it must meet this minimum aim, rather than to humiliate a student.
Once, i was made to run 6 rounds ard the track in sch uniform for not wearing proper attire to play soccer in the field. I was in the field because i was helping out the soccer team to set up the training. I wonder if MOE approves such totures. Anyway, i refuse to do it and made my pt felt. ANyway, this punishment doesn't serve the purpose. Damn tt sadistic teacher tt given me this punishment. 1 day, his son will be made to run 12 rds on the track in a bunny suit. haha....
ohhhh...Originally posted by Ayukat:When I was in Primary 3, my teacher tied a rubber band on our hair whenever we talked. Its okay to the girls but it made the boys very embarrassed having our hair tied up. I remembered a friend who hide inside the toliet during recess after having multiple rubber bands tied to his hair.
hm...trouble begets troubleOriginally posted by Twincat:wat ever punishments they give is all futile... either bo hew the punishment or take it as it is, if the teacher gone too far with stupid punishment jus waterbomb to wake up his/her idea...![]()
ooo! that is supposed to be a punishment? it seems more like a reward!Originally posted by i@@u:My principal used to make those guys who did not clear up their plates during recess wear 'french maid' uniforms for 1 week...got a frilly apron and milkmaid headgear somemore! so embarassing!
r u joking...?Originally posted by Slee981:I would urge the Ministry of Education to look into this by making sure that all the punishment is being supervised; with all the Lesson Plans, Admin Instructions & RAWR to be prepared and countersigned by the conducting who is the teacher himself and the principal who is the supervising... So as to prevent another "PW Training" treatment...
u better not be a teacher.Originally posted by Boo777:Hmm.... teacher tell student to bend down and let every guy in school to have a go... trying to break anabell Chaong record... heh heh...
