  As for thanks, plz do bear in mind that when you offer to do so, it's an act of gallantry; not a favor or in response to a help request, thus no thanks are in order.
  

  LOL! No, when people do these things its not gallantry. Its a simple little favour and I expect him/her to say thank you. If they don't then a loud so that everyone can hear "cant even say thank you meh?!" will embarrass them enough to apologise.

  i got 1 thing to share..normally when walking on road i will walk on the side closer to the road and let my GF walk inside..den while crossing try to cover her from the traffic flow when on the other side cross behind her to stand in btwn her and the flow of cars..this is more of giving her sense of security la..but i guess its nice to do tis as a guy..

  yup yup this is very important also.. once i did dat and my gf asked why i wanna walk outside.. den i told her if got a vehicle come and knock us down i'll be the one to die 1st not her.. heehee..

  ask u ppl ah.. guys, when in a quite crowded bus or train, if u r seated down n u saw a girl standing right in front of u..would u give up ur seat for her? she isn't handicapped or pregnant.. maybe carrying a bit of heavy stuff n keep getting shoved by other passengers...
  girls, if u r dat girl would u expect e guy to give up his seat for u?
