I'm a Singaporean girl and frankly I think it's quite unfair to think that pretty girls "don't have the brains to match".
I'm not tootin' my own horn, but I know I'm attractive enough, and I aced my English Paper as well as Geography in college, so to hear these remarks makes one feel pretty low.
I speak from experience and say that a lot of pretty girls around are actually lonelier than you think, and perhaps if you find that some of "us" are, as you say, "tao"...well, all I can say is perhaps we just prefer to remain silent and use our heads first before doing anything rash - and with a myriad of thoughts running through our heads doesn't leave us room to start chatting about the weather - so perhaps we come across as "tao".
Granted, there are also the other bunch of pretty girls who seriously do not have the brains to match (!) and all I can say is i'm sorry that there are such disgraces to the feminine portion of our population. But I trust that Singaporean guys are smart enough to discover which side of the coin is better. -
i personally think that smart+attractive girls are quite threatening to the male species. If you are attractive and smart, i would think twice before approaching. Wait after that u mock me how?

I believe its becos the women nowadays are able to spend more money on appearances, which includes fashion, makeovers, beauty treatments, facials, etc. But I have to admit their figures are getting more and more shapely. Even maximiser and push-up bras can make a big different in creating that shape.

Chinese girls are prettier nowdays but too bad i'm married or else i will find one to became my wife.What i really liked about them even if they are married,They still take care of their figures and appearances.Don't get me wrong,I don't mean that other race girls are bad,But Chinese girls have their own ways of maintaining their beauties Example>My sister-in-law,Still charming at the age of 33 and are with 3 kids!

All i know is..no shiet..they getting prettier. But mostly its thanks to the dress sense. Cause seriously... they become more pretty because they know how to dress, make up and act cute. =) thats basically it =P

Ha while it is positive, it also isolates such "tainted" children away from the others. more people use computers extensively these days... and watch more tv too... so across the board Singaporean's eyes are getting worse... maybe that's why the women start to look better

there are actually lots of chiou bu in singapore..
u just dunno where they are all hiding..in which blk, in which office, in which plaza in which apartment etc..
but when u come to normal rush hr time, like going to work or knocking off time, u see so many of them out in the streets until ur eyes pop!
Singapore is really a state of beauty...i love sg women...
they are pretty, they are smart, they are actually quite well....great!
