  They should let Singapore citizens decide for themselves who will represent them in the International contest Miss Universe.
  
  As if she loses the competition Singaporeans will not be ashamed of her. They will not look down upon her.
  
  As for many years Singapore "beauties" have not gotten far in the international competition.
  
  I believe this will help improve the standards.
