Generally, law of Singapore sides the ladies... as for the legal age... it is usually deemed as 16 as stated by valiantinus, When charged,as usual the male tt is the accused tries to argue that he did it in a druken furore( which is damn difficult to prove) or either she looks too god damn old to be 16 that usually falls through when faced with Judges of the Supreme Court (esp CJ). Tink they are more skeptical about the accused when comes to this kinda thing.

There are 2 ages 14 and 16 but i think they always apply the more stringent one... that's 16...

as what other ppl say, the women charter is the one who wrote 16
if the ger is under 14, the judge will use the other one in the penal code, thats meants more ji lat punishment
