wat i'm saying is that a person is capable of being an embarassment, being hated by my wife etc etc etc, REGARDLESS of whether they've been my ex b4... so it's not really exes we're talking about here... generally just pple we hate or dislike or are unsuitable to be at a couple's wedding. -

anyway i went for my ex gf's wedding last year.. totally nothing wrong, no funny feelingsor eye contact or bad behavior..
in fact, i was sitting next to ANOTHER of her exes... and the fella gave me a lift home. -

Well had a ex-colleague where she is a bitch and an enemy of everyone - the sort that arrow work, get political, back stab, come to you when she has a problem, act like you don't exists when she does not need you and get you into trouble kinda person. But when it come to her wedding, she wanted to get ang paos from all of us so she decided to invite everyone, including people she dislike and people who are just attached for the week and whoever she could waylay her red bomb. 1 table turn up, the rest of us gave her 20 dollar so as not to embarass her - totalled $240. Anyways, she deserved whatever she got and she actually deserve less.
Anyways, she did it all for the money. She dumped her ex for a richer guy. Its all for the money - so she invited all of us. Sad to say, its not a happy occasion for anyone and we all pui chao nua having to fork out that money and none of us want to "bless" her wedding or give her face.
Another colleague (also another bitch who back stabs and gets away with lots more cause she always know how to "po-lo-so") asked me to be her auntie for her wedding but I know she didn't actually want me around. It turned out that she just needed a lucky head count and I was it. She's not close to me and another colleague but we go along for good fun but we pretty much wasted a day just for her wedding. Later she said, actually, I was not her choice, but her first choice suggest to ask me. So I was the spare cause the first choice was busy and could not make it. I tell you, I was damn angry and I stopped talking to her from there on. Seriously, people can be such a bitch and their choices so misguided.
Seriously, I think people should consider carefully who they invite and who they ask to put up the effort to go through the occasion with you. Cause it can make or break the day. My last aunty effort for my friend was a task I gladly take and I enjoyed it from beginning to end. It was a joyous time.
It reaffairms our friendship.
