Doctors have seen more than enough body parts of males and females during their houseman training. Therefore when they happen to examine female patients who are significantly attractive, to them its just one part of the body that they are familiar with.
In all medical practices in Singapore, a female nurse or chaperon is required when a male doc is examining a female patient. Its all about professionalism and ethics when they do the examination. Usually the male doc if he wan to play safe will ask the patient for permission or let the female patient do self examination. Sometimes if the male doc knows a female doc is just around the corner, he will ask the female doc to do the examination on his behalf.
For me i am not a doc but i have seen female patients myself along with doctors. The thing is, we dun usually have horny thoughts but more of doing findings so that we can relieve the female patients of pain or investigate the cause of the problem. There are times where u see an attractive female but she's involved in road traffic accidents. When u see the bloodied body, i doubt the first thing in mind is to be horny lol. Its more of getting her out of the critical condition.
Then again in all forms of jobs there are always black meh mehs. So if ladies are definitely not comfortable having a male doc to examine, she can always ask for female ones.
