Last nite i almost met wf an accident.
12am, I was driving at this PIE just past kallang(Lane 2@90km/hr) when tis P-plate driver SDS**** silver car almost bumped into my car, he didnt bother to check his blind sport on his right, didnt signal his rite lamp and drove into my lane. As i saw his car almost bumped into mine, i was forced to cut into lane 1 whereby i almost hit the car on the lane1. Luckily the car on the lane 1 drove passed me very quickly. I horned twice at the P plate driver(wearing glassess)...wtf!
To all P-platers...Plse for goodness sake, Please check your blind spot and signal early before switching lane! Dont cause harm to other traffic users becos of your carelessness! -

i experienced this before, and i reacted the same away. however instead of getting just pissed with others, i also regretted the way i swung my wheel dangerously to the side. ok natural reaction it is. but i try to remind myself to use the brakes instead if such thing happens again. having someone bump my arse is better than myself swerving to another car...
i myself am a P driver. thx for such reminder. but no stereotype pls

the whole idea of hanging a P plate there to warn you theres an inexperienced driver in sight
give way alittle way lah and take down his plate if he hits you
besides its not just the P plates that are bad drivers -

I cannot give way becos he was driving just beside me,side by side, and i can see the driver face so clearly, dunno his eyes got stamp or wat.... got my car beside him, he just make a sudden rite turn and almost hitting me in that few sec...
Whether is p-plate or experienced drivers, one should know how to be a responsible driver. -
haha who knows this guy also same encounter as you, some car on his left trying to cut in, so he swings right, then u also swing right...... everybody swings right......

nowadays drivers dun have the conscientious thinking already...
i have seen alot of drivers driving on both lanes (centre bet 2 lanes) i horn them to let me pass they bo hiew me...somemore i overtake him liao...he buey song tailgate me....if im a.s.s.hole enough i would just jam my brakes hard to let him bang on me loh....
drivers now alot of them no road courtesy liao..i sometimes also feel disgusted by their actions...but what to do??..all we can do is be considerate...
but i think is very difficult..although im trying hard to be one...
dun say drivers...pedestrans also loh...got some idiots when they crossing junction turn red already yet they walk at their own slow pace...(not elderly..elderly can understand..) i need to e brake infront of them jamming my horn..and yet what i get??..i f.a.rk. up face by them..some qia me middle finger loh... -
Not only P-platers do this kind of weird thing...alot of other drivers does it... just that we should all watch out when driving...

no i'm not laughing at ur P-ness, i'm just thinking when u drive longer in sg, u'll just get used to it.
the onus is on us (supposedly safe drivers??) to really be alert for fUckers on the road, and when encountered, take necessary precautionary action, then click the back button on the CD player, becos you missed that nice part of that song while concentrating extra hard on the road becos of that fUcker.

the pedestrians walking along just stared in at me. they must have thought it was my fault because I'm a P-plater.. -
everyone also gone thru their P-plate days..
anyway, i see so-called experience drivers whom drive even more reckless than a p-plate driver.
oh ya, tp set a law to hang a p-plate on the car doesnt come without a reason. it mean to inform others driver that this car is being drive by a driver whom just got his/her license. and pls give way to this inexperience driver.
everyone commit mistakes and learn frm it. -
to me ar..i feel P plates are all quite mannerly drivers..
the p plate u mention might not be a real p plate..haha..maybe his bro or sis is a p plate..

I'm really damn insulted lor... Must always be the P plate's fault meh? Cannot be just someone driving a car with a P plate ah? I'm also a P plate... doesn't mean I don't check blind spot... most of the time is other drivers don't want to give way... always want to squeeze...
It's not good to sterotype... It's like saying women drivers are traffic hazards...
True... sometimes, P platers also commit mistakes... doesn't mean that ALL of them do it... So pls, dun sterotype... otherwise I might just be forced to say that all women cannot drive... which isn't really true... my sis drives like a guy... -
not only p-plate drivers what... I ve seen many others who are also doing such things. Being swerving to the next lane its a natural reaction to danger. but best..u should brake. Reacting aggressively to the situation might just put u to more danger rather than satisfying ur anger. The way u put it is like insulting all p-plate drivers. Well im not a p-plate but im just saying that...if u say such things ppl might get offended.
