US Embassy has generous arrangements for their staff to bring in personal vehicles regardless left or right hand drive. In most cases, their staff is allowed to bring in their vehicle IF local laws permits. Singapore law is quite open to car import so long you are willing to pay tax (which embassies are exempt).
Anyway, the corvette and hummer... don't really notice their IU... but i guess corvette should have... the hummer... they were only shipped in for Exercise Carat Gold (?) then shipped out after. so no need for IU. I don't think Traffic Police even bother fining them.
ANyway..... just saw a Nissan Skyline (V35, not R34) today. Think only a few in singapore. V35 is... in North America the Infiniti G35. -

these TBJ and TMJ always got fancy cars. -
Woo lucky me then! I got to sit in a Dodge Viper RT/10 back in 1997. Heh I know I know, NPNT. But I didn't bring a camera with me then. It was brought in at the Chrysler showroom. Gorgeous car.

my dad went overseas. i stepped out of my house door. i saw the 6 series parked there, then turned to my left and saw the keys.

at 1st i just tap the throttle a liiiiittttlllle bit only. the tacho went up abit. then i stepped somemore. around 1500rpm. then i stepped even harder, 3000rpm!!! and i was like "WOOOOHOOO!!!!" the exhaust note was quite loud already. my hands were trembling man.
i scared later transmission kena engaged then i die liao.
being a new car i didnt dare go over 3000rpm. watch out for the sequels!
(i took a vid, i put the cam at the exhaust there. It was louder then i thought.

okay. here's e list of cars i saw during e last month or so. not much pics except for 1.
1) E500 (Black) - was changing it's tires at one of e shops in killney road and i noticed that e base is damn wide. 1 minute later. a black R34 pull up behind.
2) 912 (Yellow) - saw this long ago. around feb. got time will try to post pics.
3) DB9 (Bronze) - man. this is one hell of a babe. so far i saw 2 on sg roads. first one was travelling along e road beside borders. 4 digt plate. 2nd was stopped at one of e traffic lights outside funan. i took e longest time i ever did to cross the road.
car plate was one dgit and starts with a E.
4) 6 series - saw lots of 6s running around. but have yet to spot e one with acs kit.
5) gallardo - pic supported.
all these might seems common for some of e guys here but for me it was a totally new experience. -
