so have u tried your horns on inconsiderate drivers since the last gathering where u got a chance to test it?
I am actually beginning to enjoy tapping my horn at sickening drivers who just swerved into my lane without signalling in advance!

I tried horning last week when One BMW cut into my lane ...but my tiny winni horn just meow softly....no fear at all...so I was thinkin to modify to make it louder....

Make the horn work for u! If all else fails, perhaps can consider modifying to some thunderous horns....

finally the conditions were right for me to do what i wanted to do long ago:
condition 1: entering JB thru second causeway
condition 2: ultra-safety-conscious nagging wife not around
condition 3: kids not around
condition 4: its day time, weather's good, visibility's good
condition 5: plenty of time to waste
after the causeway, and passing 2 overhead bridges (these are the places where their TP hide and laser speeding cars).
i turned off aircon, off radio, instrument check, brake check, steering check, windows closed, TP check....
coast's clear and i stepped on the accelerator....
at 120km/h: the rear left windows noise started, as expected
140km/h: engine noise started to get obvious, growling
160km/h: more engine growling but harder, heart also pumping faster
beyond 160km/h: engine struggling to try to go beyond, screaming, accelerator still not completely floored though. car beginning to feel not too steady, must be my tinee weeny thin wheels, or maybe i overly worried.
165km/h: road bend in front, had to stop.
ok next time will try harder.
wonder what will happen if the needle hit 180km/h? anything will drop off?

next day went back to spore. it was drizzling in the morning, i rushed into the car after breakfast at burger kings. finally it rained!
today is my turn to fetch the blind aunties to church. turned on the engine, the "PS" warning light litted, and power steering was gone!! wah! panicked man!
lucky the steering wheel was still steerable, and lucky those days of IPPT training paid off. i had to use bull's strength to drive my march around. damn! what a day! was it becos of the speeding yesterday? was it the rain? likely not, maybe just sway...
after the 1 hour of fetching i sent my march to TC toa payoh (arms got lotza muscles now).
now its got to stay there till monday, sh*t, what a weekend! -
I did my little homework also. the $500 wan is likely the klassique range which is supposed to be the entry level. I found the spec quite low compared to other similiarly priced product. Maybe tat's why u still feel hotOriginally posted by AngPow:Hi Superm,

Superm, if the guy say 500+ absolutely best price, he most prob bluffing u. The classic range cost 600, and with Nissan card or Wheels card u get 10% = $540. Pretty standard fare for all Nissan owners, but one SE told me tat the price charge to TC if they throw in for u when u buy the car is 300 plus. Consider tat Huper Optic still earn a profit at $300+, u can easily figure out the rest.
