  Hi Nyc, Yep, the weather is really hot......Melting n sweating....i think i can fry an egg on my car for about 4hrs, hey, ur car has tinting.....n black colour....can be a oven as well.....coffee on u, well i take it!! Dinner as well? for all new members as well?

  Coffee for the "new members" is fine for me, only for those I have not seen during our launch last sat..!! I am just afraid they will have other commitments and won't be able to turn up. By the way tks for the maps and directions to guide them...!
  
  Heat in my car not really I left a little gap on my windows to let the heat out... hahaha !My roof can cook up some nice ribeye now !!!

  I had been driving Nissan March since last April and didn't know about this forum until a nice lady passed me the March club address on a piece of paper(she was driving a lime green March) sometime 1 - 2 weeks back along Thomson Road. Wow, I'm a toad in the well for too long.
  
  Anyway, a brief introduction of myself: I'm driving a crystal blue March, currently studying in NUS and graduating this semester (YEAH, can't wait).
  
  Kinda sad that I wouldn't be able to join you guys for coffee @ café@100 this friday as I have to rush my assignments which are due on sunday.
  
  Hope to meet you guys soon.

  Hi all,
  
  Finally collected my marchie last sat evening at abt 7pm. Driving a marchie was cool and parking was not as difficult as i thought it would be. I had a reverse sensor fixed FOC by my SE....ha ha....cos i tot it would be tough to park.
  
  Anway, I have some questions to ask some of the experts here...
  
  1. I tend to feel a gear drag upon the first 30 km/h of acceleration, is this normal?
  
  2. The water temp indicator shows blue light up for abt 2 minutes when i start my engine in the morning, is this too long a time?
  
  3. The car tend to vibrate a bit, is it due to the road or is it bcos the car is too light or is there any prob with it?

  Sorry I didn't notice you were chasing me cos I was on my way home after visiting my puppy in the Mount Pleasant Animal Hospital. She fell from my brother's shoulders and landed on her head, had operation to remove blood clot in head. Hence, I was quite upset and didn't pay much attention. Anyway, she's been discharged and more playful than ever. Thanks for catching up and passing me that note.

  1. I tend to feel a gear drag upon the first 30 km/h of acceleration, is this normal?
  
  - 15km/h 2nd gear change
  - 35km/h 3rd gear change
  - 65km/h 4th gear change
  
  Normal driving habits and light footer drivers, the car will change as it is on the above + - !! You feel draggy becos you have to drive above 65/km then the 4th gear kicks inÂ…! It is tough to control the speed when you have 50km speed limit on normal roads..! For sure yr 3rd gear will be over worked and draggy.. Fuel Cost will also increaseÂ…!
  
  2. The water temp indicator shows blue light up for abt 2 minutes when i start my engine in the morning, is this too long a time?
  
  - Try to warm up yr car abt 5mins, thatÂ’s the best way to maintain yr engine and not spoiled itÂ… ! Driving off after the blue light turns off is save..! but is not advisable to high rev yr car after 2 mins as the short warming up is not enough.!! Drive abt 3 to 5 mins on the road, after which when the engine is all warmed up you can floor yr car..!
  (I did not place too technical bullshit to explain..! long story ! too long of a story..! )

  Yup, that's my vehicle. Always park @ Carpark 10 for science modules, then for my arts modules, I usually park @ 16 but if it's full then @ 15 and walk =0( You park there too?

  Evening all marchies,
  
  today i hope it was my lucky day.........saw 1 red marchie at novena church in the afternoon, 1 orange marchie at thomson centre, 4 marchie cars-red, 2 orange, 1 yellow n 1 silver marchie all parked in taka b2 carpark, went to plaza singapura carpark , saw 3 marchies, 1 olive green, 1 red and 1 silver marchie, really hope u guys will read my notes and reply........ MISSED 1 IN THE CTE TUNNEL.....

  No always in Carpark 8... sometimes deep inside Carpark 10.
  
  Within campus always take the internal shuttle especially when need to go for internal courses.
  
  But then when meeting the rest at Munchies, always park at Sports Drive I

  HALLOOOOO..........I''m so sorry that I've not been able to join u guys for all ur outings lately. Have been so busy tat I hvn't even had time to log in to read all the postings!!! So many! Too busy to even drive my OPC March out...it has been sitting in the carpark for so long w/o any exercise!
  
  How has everybody been?? In case you guys have forgotten me from my looong absence - I drive the citron green March; the other yellow March tog with Tedz during the photoshoot!!
  
  Can someone kindly update me on the progress of what's going on.... I've been receiving emails from NYC - but haven't had time to open the attachments to see what's going on.
