Taxi driver cry wolf after banging!~

This was the scenario
My dad was stopping at a traffic light junction when a taxi Bang onto the back of the car. Upon impact the driver, still sounded his honk. After which both parties came out of the vehicles to inspect the vehicles...
The outcome, my car's bumper remains intacted! But the taxi's bumper was totalled. It was at this moment when the taxi driver began to shout at my dad accusing him of reversing and rowing into his taxi and demanded conpensation.
This was an act of totally hooligan behaviour and I personally feels such behaviours should not be condoned.
The issue is 1) It was his fault as my dad's car was already in stationery mode at the traffic light junction.
2) There was a slope Yes, but the slope is declining type, meaning that in no way when a car be reversing or rowing backwards but will row move forward without brakes.
3) Demanding of compensation and threatening is an act of road bully and should be severely deal with.
The matter ended with my dad asked him whether he wanted to pursue the matter further by reporting to the police. The driver left immediately upon hearing this.
The outcome.... my car got a kiss on the butt.

Saw this case the other day. Was on a slope, the other declining type, if you let go brake, confirm go backwards. A very old beetle rolled backwards and bumped the station wagon behind. Both drove their cars to the side and inspect damage. si beh heng no damage, station wagon licence plate got kissed nia. Both drivers went on their merry way after.

Kenna once with a taxi. He infront, I behind. He row back. I horn. He don't care. We kiss. He came down. I told him he row back. He move to the front. Came out and inspect. I didn't come out cause the bump was light.
Sometimes these guys just working too hard and sleeping at times. Road hazzle. I wonder if the TP have gadgets to check their sleepiness??? -
take down his number!!! in SG there is no such thing as simi row back simi reverse one... front to end collision w/o any witness 100% is the back vehical will lugi. claim his insurance and get ur self a new bumper.. or at least a new license plate. ^^

So now they are copying their BOSS behaviour as it has set an great example that Cabbies get away scot free even if they hit..... reason.... they are "STRESS and under SPECIAL Circumstances" -

Asked me to get down the car, and then drive off (claiming to send cab for repair)
I write in and complain. Not sure if they will really take action against the driver. -

my uncle was with me a week ago at amk when suddenly this city cap jus brake abruptly in front of us to get a customer. my uncle almost banged into him and tt driver showed us the middle finger and challenged us to go down and talk with him. my uncle jus took down the number and told the guy his plate was noted down already and a complaint will be made to the LTA. at last he diam diam, dun wan the customer and jus drove away, but not w/o scolding us vulgarities. my uncle did call the LTA after tt but i dun know wat happend after that already. -

If u have his license plate no., come to Idac Portdowns tml b4 6pm look for Daniel, i'll help u submit a third party claim report then we'll assess the damage on your rear bumper. thats why its important as when we were touring the north island in NZ hor...my dad didnt know how to control the caraven so we got some minor accident....
1: Reverse to stone wall of car park..but hind bull bar prevent dmg
2:Bang a car's side window, caravan's side got one line of scratch
3:Band a car's right indicator lights....cover broke only,the lights stay intact....
4:reverse and hit a pipe or something like that, caravan's poop's pipe broke,managed to put it back -

Np, if you can get a private settlement with that joker then no need to come Idac. still it's in your best interest to get a report documented and get your bumper assess. Given the scenerio, you have a win-win case against that cabby. Taxi drivers are a danger to all. I met one who jammed brake outta nowhere and caused me to e brake and many behind me to do so almost causing a chain accident. after which, I horned him to move on, he wound down window and yelled #%^&#%~@@&~( non stop. After dat, he purposely jammed brake again! i have been eyeing these bunch of taxi faggots for a long time, since these taxi drivers refuse to show respect to other road users, i think it's time we treat them like dogs, the authority fails to instil good driving habits in them, it's then ,our turn to teach them a lesson, they want to make life difficult for others, it's time we make life difficult for them, i can assure you this bunch of taxi faggots will get subdued..let's hope these bunch of taxi faggots disappear from our public roads forever

Me last time encounter is i ride bike and stop before the traffic light cos is right, then one stupid taix just hit my bike from behind result in me surge forward. Lucky is just light kiss. Then the taxi uncle come out telling me crap reason that his customer thing drop he turn to see... nah bei, people thing drop his problem meh...... oso lucky is hit my tired, i never persuade further, but nothing his bumper like a big damage........
