What is a door visor?
I drove a car some years back with window visors. I assume they are those plastic things you wedge on top of the window on the outside. If you wind down your windows slightly, some air/wind will come into the car to cool it without disrupting your hairdo. Am I correct?
If so I feel its a waste of time as the 'air' coming into the window is quite warm and will do little to cool the car. Further they make a lot of wind noise and cause unnecessary wind friction. This is the biggest disadvantage. This works well in cold countries as the outside air is cold and is just suitable to cool the interior. Its like driving a convertible in Sgp. Further if the quality is poor the plastic will discolour with age, otherwise it is just another example of a cosmetic mod.
As for my experience I never used it and did not bother as it came with the car, even when it was raining. Hope this is useful.

The side mirror indicator lamp cost $345 excluding GST & installation (ard $50-$60). If they do not have yr car colour, you have to pay additional $40 to spray the colour.
Yes. I will definitely install the side mirror indicator. Maybe, the chap in TC Parts Division is ignorant of the spray painting.... By the way, does the visor serve much purpose?

The Nissan website refer the window visor as the door visor. It shd mean the same thing if i m not wrong. -

Great. Then we will have 2 Bean Green March with side mirror lamp indicator. Initially i am getting solar film from my SE but has now changed to the lamp indicator. Guess it would look nice on our march as well as enhancing safety as the car in front are now able to see our signal. Have you placed an order yet?

Yes... I think it will look cool on our March. I have yet to place an order with TC...A little pissed off with them. Will hunt around elsewhere first and if I can't get it, will turn to TC. Still trying hard to dress up my Marchie with more accessories.

i called up TC @TPY just now, TC staff mentioned a name "Jasmine" as i was equirying about the availability of the stock. is that referring to ya?

ok people, we need to make a decision soon, pls post your nick to tell us which date you can go.
guys, for this june event, after much discussions with a few members, we have decided to invade the north (of singapore). we will be visiting:
i) Sungei Buloh Nature reserve (bet many have not been there before)
ii) Kranji War Memorial (another one)
iii) follow by dinner (maybe sembawang yacht club)
of course it will include the usual convoy movement to flash your marches to the other road users. dun miss this ultimate ego booster event while appreciating the nature and our war heroes! come, join!
(as some cannot make it on one date, so here's for your choosing, we will decide on one date with most who can make it ok?)

How about giving us a roundup of your last trip to Damar Laut with TC. I have not been on any organised trip and am curious. How did you travel up? Was it by convoy? How about some slower drivers, How do they cope? Approaching town how do they lead the convoy in?

Went down yesterday to TC @ TPY to confirm my purchase!!
I immediately install the door mirror with the indicator light liao!! LAST PIECE for OPAL Lavender!!
but note that it is a cover over the original mirrors.. so you may not be used to it..
Now TC is having promotion on the acessories, so, overall, including installation, i paid 312 SGD.. cos i dun need to spray colour!!!
I gave up the fog lamp cos still unsure.. dunno what i need it for.. thought TC @ TPY does carry the fog lamp for my colour...
I stay near my work, but travel a bit on the crowded PIE to stevens road before turning into pacific plaza... distance only usually ~6km.. my fuel consumption if i drive like this the whole month is ~11.5km/l...full tank at ~35 litres only give me max 360km.. is this normal?? i over 5k period liao leh.. any one can help to give me some tips?? -

AT $312, it cheap. So how the indicator lamp, you like it? For me i have to spend more cos i need to spray. What do you mean by i have to get used to it? -
hey saj, discussed the mileage issue in the forum b4, think the general fc ranges from like 11-15km/l... (anyone correct me if wrong)... depend on the grade of petrol u use as well... i usually pump 98 or the esso red color, 5000?, ard 32-34 litres and it easily last me over 400km, max record 500km!!! or maybe you that type rev up engine when the traffic turns green, think very eat petrol...
btw, petrol discount yesterday at 24%!! today still 23%!!! goodness... -
i was at TC TPY yesterday oso... doing my 10K servicing... did a polish and wax but dun think they did a thorough job, found some residue at the sides of the door... and today only rain...sign. oh, and running in synthetic oil now... wow feels the engine all perk-up and rolling in butter...

Where & who did the installation for you for the signal lamp? Cause i check with my SE just now and she have checked with TC TPY workshop ppl and they told her that the signal lamp cost 298 but the installation cost $50 so it work out to be ard $350. [/quote] -

I will write a detailed report and send to all of you over the weekend...Still very excited about the trip though it has ended..... I was the only Marchie among the Cefiros, Primeras, Sunnys, etc. but thankfully, my Marchie did not fail me and I managed to keep up in pace with most of these cars. Keep a look out for my report.....
