A latio engine with 109 bhp place it in a march, comparing it with a latio. i am sure a march body with a latio engine can push a little more out of it..!
At 109bhp / 980kg march ( 8.9 kg per horse) vs 109bhp /1110 Latio (10.2kg per horse.
1.4L 4wd is for japan market, the 1.4L 2wd is replace by the new model 1.5L march...! Let's see what TC will have installed for us...!!! the 15G, 15E and 15S the basic models..!
I think it wld be interesting for TC now since they have to market two different design cars with same engine, same platform & same instrument panel. it remain to see how buyers will react. March for quirkiness or Latio for ugliness?
Or all shun Nissan car & go for Altis?
BTW anyone notice that March has been taken out from the Sat classified ad for TC. They probably stop taking order for old model and preparing for facelift launch. -

i managed to grab the last piece (i think) of HOTstuff from a mama shop yesterday (can't find it in petrol kiosks or bookshops anymore), and wow, the article is very nicely put up! good job guys! there's also our logo amongst the rest of car clubs on the front page, i must say our March1Z logo looks the best. i am so proud of you all!
i was quietly laughing to myself when i saw literally all the taxis on thailand roads are guess what? toyota altis!! and painted in weird combinations of yellow. lucky i didnt buy that (no offence, altis friends)
seems like the royal purple event will be held on the 24 sept 05. the committe will liaise with RP then, meanwhile we need everyone here to support, pls register early pple! -

Lennie thanks for the compliment n ur full of praise for my marchie. *shy* la. ur car is then the cool one with all the gadgets thrown in! way to go man! still got lots to learn from u guys regarding mod! well, for me....if i like certain thing, i'll try means n ways to get it. if i'm not into other stuff, no matter how others psycho me to do it i will not.
i understand u r all into mod stuff n not into our "bookworm club" family events. but i sincerely hope u can still drop by once in a while to talk about mod! the rest of the members would love to learn a thing or 2 from u too! still consider u part of the march1Z family cuz u drive a march!
would really love to have u join us if we do a trip up north man! will keep u posted!

Pump prices up by 5 to 9 cents on record high crude prices
Petrol companies Caltex, Shell and SPC on Tuesday increased their pump prices by 5 cents to 9 cents per litre, to match rival Exxon Mobil's hike on Monday evening.
Fuel prices have been going up and the reason for the latest hike - record crude oil prices due to fears that hurricane Katrina in the US could damage the country's refining capacity.
Crude soared to almost US$70 per barrel.
How would the hike in petrol prices affect motorists?
"Save money by travelling less, this is the only choice," said a motorist.
"I'm in sales. No choice, but I will plan my routes," said another.
"I wait at the taxi stand, mostly. You cannot go around.....the diesel, so expensive," said a taxi driver.
"Not really, I think it's still very much the same. I still drive as it is," said a fourth motorist.
The relentless price hikes are taking its toll on private bus operators who say fuel costs are up 75% since the beginning of the year - from S$40,000 a month to S$70,000.
But there's little else they can do as they've just increased transport fares by 15 percent in July.
Taxi drivers say their fuel cost has also gone up by more than $300 a month in the last three months.
Pump prices were fluctuating throughout Tuesday as petrol companies tried to match their rivals' in a highly competitive retail market.
But they managed to keep the prices just under the psychological $2 mark, with standard discounts thrown in to soften the impact.
Currently, grade 98 and 95 petrol were retailing at $1.927 and $1.844 respectively across the board, before discounts.
Prices for Premium 98 grade petrol stabilised at $1.99 per litre.
Shell increased its diesel prices by 5 cents to $1.22 but Caltex and ExxonMobil did not follow suit. - CNA/ir

yesterday went to buy RoyalPurple oil and sent my March for 30K servicing at TP.
can tell you, the feeling was WOW! this one really flies!
my March now feels very light and zippy, somehow the FC also seems like improved a lot (no this is not my imagination)!
maybe i have been driving with the previous lousy engine oil for too long, this is a marked jump in improvement.
been chiong-ing around town today just to feel the zipiness. shiok!
i took up the $80 polish and wax by TC since the 30K servicing costed only $60+ not inlcuding oil. the manager claimed can last 3 to 6 months wonder if its true. but the polishing definitely is better than my DIY standard, looks and feels like new car!
