anyway, time flies, my silver marchie is almost a year old! That also means insurance policy and road tax renewal etc......really cough blood mann
been so busy for the last 6 months that I've stopped hand washing my car diligently since many moons ago, no chance for 'regular facials' and spot checks for the car exterior.... Then one fine day, suddenly spotted some minor scratches and a mini dent, on the front portion...god knows how, where and when that happened... Feel so scarred... will go for major plastic surgery action for her next year... 
Car's going for 4th servicing this Xmas, hitting the 20k mark...cough out lungs by then...
Xmas's sneaking around the corner, bet there're upcoming Xmas gatherings happenin' for the club! I just hope I can really make it on whatever the weekend that is set...as long as no clashes with work....
Missed so much of the action this year..

Basic remedy, sent in to paint workshop for sand down, patty and re spraying.
The longer you going to ignore it the damage will be worst becos of oxidization.
For just dents, go down to capitol carpark ! $20 per 1st dent, after which is $10 per dent, if you have 4 dents, 20+10+10+10 = $50
This shop is specialized in repair dents from careless and irresponsible drivers when they open the doorÂ… just dun care abt the car next to them.

Depends on what believes and what interest you most;
Voltage stabilizers are very much a better use for those who enjoy “ICE”.
“ICE” is a wide topic to venture into and there are many levels of “ICE” !
Newbie/beginners, novice, advance and professional stage, a set of good advance “ICE” system would cost you abt 20k min.
Why not the “old skool” way, hahahaha ! Fuel efficient (subjective);
1. Drive your car below 15000/ 2000rpm.
2. Off youÂ’re A/C when traveling below 80km/h all the time.
3. Be a light footer when accelerating.
4. Travel alone (always keep your car light, without extra weight in it)
5. Dun pump full tank, always pump half. (Lesser drag for 20L vs 42L full tank)
IMPUL kit in Malaysia (exclude spray and install)
1. IMPUL wing is abt ($1500- $1100 SGD)
2. The OEM IMPUL WING will cost abt $700-$900 exclude install and spray job. -

Alternatively, if we're too lazy to do the preparation, can go for Crab Feast at Dotty Cafe located near Keppel Club, serves great crab and nice outdoor ambience/'sea' breeze...there's ample free parking space there too. Anyone been there?

haha... i'm in a dilemma coz i have been discussing with my friends. Girlfriends will tell me March is a suitable car for me coz of my size (i'm short) and coz it's cute. the attitude of the lady owner is really bad and rude.... The surrounding was very nice which overlook Sentosa island but the only disappointment was the seafood are too expensive. A cup of hot water cost S$1.50. No ice water is available only mineral water costing S$1.50/bottle. The service was bad.

the March is underpowered? tell your guys friends to get their facts right before giving comments, they dunno what they are talking about. the March is the MOST POWERFUL 1.4L in the market, there are even serious racing dedicated to just the K12 Marches in Japan.

Hi hi all... how's everyone doing, sorry hv been missing out alot... been so busy with work year end... hit my 20k mark oredi also no time go servicing... but where can i get this 'blue blood'(forgot the brand) syn oil?? can't find at Carrefeur...

The service was bad. ...it's just the crabs and fried buns that we were interested in anyway.... our average price per pax was about $22+ for crab and some dishes...thought was quite reasonable. Anyway we were just keen to feast on the black pepper and chilli crabs with fried buns! Brought our own wines to compliment the crabs... 
anyway...guess what, heard from a few sources that it's closed for renovation or something...called the number but the chap says they're open. Not sure...*scratch head* -

Yeah! I had the kicking plates installed on my car....Its kind of DIY but they look horrible cos they are made of rubber and very ex (around S$120 plus)....I wish they have the metal ones. Can't imagine that they dun have one for our Marchie when even the Getz has one too. Let me know if anyone of you has lobang for the metal ones....Will definitely get mine replaced.

luckily there was this battery and tyre shop behind the petrol kiosk. they changed the battery to maintenance free type and voila, my March came alive again!
they advised that modern cars esp our types are very sensitive to voltage stability and usually we cant see any symptoms prior to failure.
so, the original one (Panasonic brand) lasted me about slightly above 1 year only.
the maintenance free battery (dunno what brand) costed about S$80, thought it looked quite solid.
Good info indeed....I was always told to replace my battery after 2 years no matter what its condition is like....Seems like I have to rethink about this since yours died after slightly more than a year....I think I better change mine once it reaches its one year anniversary....Cannot imagine how I will struggle if it happened to me in Malaysia.... What do you mean by maintenance free battery?? Is it one of those where it does not need distilled water??? I have driven my car for 9 months already but yet to check on the distilled water level....

I am back..........Tired and exhausted but no good news to report.....Only managed to buy one Citron Yellow Marchie for you.... I have searched high and low everywhere in HK for them but couldn't find them...Only the Toyotas and Mazdas are available...Managed to get one last Citron Yellow at one of the Toys R'Us store in a remote part of Hong Kong Island.....Really surprising cos I have only seen one K12 on the road during all my previous visits to Hong Kong. Wonder who the buyers are cos I have seen the Remote Control Marchies everywhere in the shops back in August. Maybe new stocks will come in later....Plan to return there in Jan/Feb period.

my old cars did that to me a few times before, once when it was about 4am in the morning!! and we couldnt get spares cos they dont carry the model's parts in the state!
thaz right, those maintenance free batteries are literally maintenance free, you dont need to top up the battery water. think its worth it as they are getting cheaper by the day.
generally a typical battery should last for about 1.5 years, mine could be a freak case.
when you send your car for servicing, TC would normally test the battery also to ensure they are in good form.
but in my case, mine died even though it was serviced not too long ago. so you will never know when it will act up. -

Calculate it yourself it is just a guide, the 1.4L AT4 march has sufficient power and torque for Singapore roads. From 0 – 100 km to clock below 12 sec is good enough, considering power to weight ratio.
How fast do you want to move off and how many speed traps do you want to put your name on it ! If you can wait ( if it is coming in next year), go check out the new facelift march 1.5L CVT gear box. (is a beauty and it is quick)
