  TE = technical employment. this is wat i got from a lady who drove a S/TE as well. i think they are damn good FT's being invited to work in singapore.
  
  anyway, other S/ plates:
  
  CD = Corps of Diplomats
  CC = Corps of Consulates/Commissioners
  
  sorry, a bit blur. do advise if this is against the rules, cos we need to show the plate.

  Thanks for the info! Initially, I thot was related to Asian Aerospace, but the road tax disc was effective Dec 05.
  
  Would be real interesting to find out what is the criteria for such a plate.

  me also. TE is a rare breed. what kind of people can work in singapore and dun pay COE and road tax???

  Anyone noticed that SBST's 36** series of regoes shares the same suffix as the 98** series?
  
  Same goes for the 26** and 92** ones.

  this service will close on saturday, then open again on the 28th. till then.....
  
  put the rego, then for transfer date, put any date 2-6 months from now, e.g. 1/6/2006.

  well, it will work for every prefix, not just SBS, i.e. SBA36xx is the same as SBA98xx, and so on.
  
  the math = 12 * thousandth place + 2 * hundredth + 11 * tens + 1 * ones
  
  so u can count from there.... the diff between 98xx and 36xx is (6*12+2*2), which is 76. the fact that it is a multiple of 19 means you will get the same suffix.
