is china insurance reliable? how much will it be if i use their name? so if i use their name and i am the one who met with an accident, with damage to the car and injure myself can i still claim the insurance? -
March club is growing is size... It would good if we have a March Club Decal on our car to identify all MARCH die hard owner...!

if use their name should be around $1200 to 1,500 depend on which insurance company. Car insurance only cover the car damages i dun think they will cover ur injury. Use ur mum name as the insurer , other party driver it will be covered but excess will be higher. But as long anything happen ur mum say she did it.. then will be covered . I use Esso because I signed up for the Citibank Esso card, which gives me a larger discount. I may change to Shell95 if I can find comparable discounts. -

Leather is usually done by one of the leather shops e.g. jackspeed, tomo. TC uses Jackspeed as their supplier. The cost is about $250. Leather quality and workmanship - I personally prefer Tomo. You will have to leave the car there for a few hours at least, as they have to remove the whole steering wheel to stitch the leather on. Color selection is also a challenge as they have limited colors. I couldn't get the same blue shade as the car so opted not to do it. Our steering wheel texture is actually ok, unlike other cheap makes like the Vios or Sunny which feels rubbery.
Changing steering wheel has its downsides. Firstly, the airbag can't be transferred. So you will lose the driver side airbag, which is major. There could be warranty voiding issues as this is a major functional part linked to the car's mechanicals and electronics, instead of simply cosmetic.
Secondly, it will look quite different. Most of us bought the car for stylistic reasons (otherwise we would gotten a Toyota). So this is a matter of personal preference. -
I opted for the JVC stereo which comes standard in the Latio (premium version) and Cefiro. Much better sound quality. It also comes with a AUX stereo input jack in front so you can plug in your MP3 player or iPod. Got $250 off because I opted out of the standard March stereo, and paid $530 for the JVC head unit and CD changer. Got TC to install it, but it's fairly straightforward. -

You are SURE to get your March. TC has already got your deposit. The last thing they want to do is to return the deposit to you. Beware that you might soon get a call for you to "top up" your price to improve your chances to get a COE. They will do their best to scare you into giving more money to them.
DON'T fall for that trick. I have never heard of anyone who ever got their purchase order cancelled and deposit refunded. Ask any honest sales person. I've bought 5 new cars already and so I've heard most of the tricks in their book... -
got my car cheap cheap.. at 43500 =) yaa my SE also say dont top up! but maybe she wld be desperate if i really cant get my coe and ask me to top up.. but then again she did mention be patient, dont waste $$$ by topping up! heh nice and honest SE...
hmmm do you think the JVC system is worth chaning? or shld i get an alpine 1?? for the aux i just need to buy another cable to plug into ipod right?
BY the way, can i just ask how many speakers does our march have?? 2 in front? 2 at the back?? cos i sat in my fren's subaru R2... only two infront, sound system no good leh

NCD is transferable between parent and child. The best way is to get your SE to let you try out the sound system in the Latio premium. The cars (Cefiro, Latio, March) have the same speakers from the factory. I changed to JVC because I didn't want to spend much money on the sound system, and by opting out of the stock stereo, get to save some money. If you don't get the CD changer then it won't be much difference in price.
Alpine on the hand is very very ex. Only get it if you're going all the way i.e. change speakers and add subwoofer/amp. Otherwise wasted on the stock speakers.
March has speakers in all 4 doors. -
