  2nd gear to 3rd gear to 4th gear. March k12 gear box is a 4AT gear box, the number 4 tells you it is a old fashion 4AT auto gear box transmitionis not a cvtc gear box or cvt.... ! tks.

  but apparently, 2 shops had told me must change our immobilizer (mine's an 'E') to a proper Alarm control. That would cost about $150-200.
  
  The Sound module would cost another $150.

  hmm is 4AT bad? i mean compared to the rest? i am a newbie... still waiting for my precious COE to descend on me .... argh.. its my 3rd bid next week.. i cant wait for wed to come.... i really hope to get... but............. i am quite sure i have to wait again.. haiiiiii... got car waiting in warehse but cannot get near it.. so near yet so far

  If I am a thief, I need to steal four K12 to make up one Lexus or BMW. I rather go for one time "big time", rather then going for 4 time the effort and risk.
  
  However, there may be some novice or deperate thief that will steal any other cars...

  i drive into malaysia rather often .... personally seen car-jackers n thieves piCk n ChooSe .... they would take ANY biG SUV/MPV (Toyota-prado/lexus-RX/voLvo-XC90/Nissan-Murano) rather than our k12... rather take MERC (C180 OR a-CLASS ALSO JADI) n LEXUS than our k12 .....

  Just sent my ride to my 10k servicing. Have also opted for Synthetic Oil rather than Mineral.
  
  Would like to canvass for more opinions on possible servicing centres besides Tan Chong as well as Autosaver.
  
  I work in Ubi area and nearby workshops will be highly considered.

  I think these 2 are the most common. Nissan March is a fairly simple car and so I think many just go to the service area of some petrol stations.
  
  You must drive a lot. I think we got our cars about the same time (Oct06) but mine just reached 5000km.
