I understood that it's the Air Con Compressor starting up. From inside the car, you can barely hear the sound. If you stand outside, it's loud and possbily of concern. I don't think that much of it though.

The other question I have is what you all think of the solar film sold by TC. I had it installed by TC but the car is still really hot. On some days, it's hotter inside the car than outside! Almost as if the film is trapping the heat inside. I know our March has large window areas which may explain the heat inside, but I just hope the film is not making it worse!...

The March is on a traditional 4-speed auto transmission, not CVT which has no gears but rather 2 pulleys with variable lengths. CVT gives smoother (but slower) gear changes but is designed for slow easy driving. Acceleration is slower than standard transmissions. Get the March if you're looking for a fun city car with lots of window area. It is a very easy car to drive and park, and so is great for less confident drivers. It stands out for different reasons than WRX with huge spoilers. However be prepared to get bullied a lot on the road, i.e. other cars will always assume you are slower, and so will overtake you aggressively, and won't give you way.

The noise I'm saying is another type..sounds like water boiling , i can hear it very clearly from inside the car, it comes from the aircon...the noise comes only after i start engine, it lasts from few seconds to a minute. -
I've always felt that use of solar film is really limited in SG. Usually, if I park my car in the open and expect it to get hot, I'll unwind the windows a little. It prevents the heat from being trapped totally inside. -

just really like the ipod set up... i used to think that i have to change the stock Kenwood to the JVC 2din HU to play my ipod, didnt know that the kenwood stock cld also be made compatible..
OH btw.. being new n confused, can any1 enlighten me the diff bet 2 din n a normal HU? hmmm
i know shooting clouds changed his stock HU to the ones installed stock in latio premium 2din jvc, is the sound system much better?? -

finally got my marchie back from TC today.
Regarding the noise problem I encountered, TC mechanic couldn't diagnose the cause.Instead they removed the hoses connect to heater or coolant , then used rubber stopper to block the hoses..They told me when they removed that , don use heater then the noise won't occur.
They told me SG weather no need use heater anyway.I 'm not sure if that will cause any aftermath problem.It seems they removed the problem instead of rectify it.
Any trustable, reliable and good workshop that I can go for 2nd opinion to check?Thanks. -

1) top up 2.5k for guarantee coe
2) top up 2k for guarantee withing 3 more bids
3) top up any amount to increase my bidding
haiii... why cant they just give me the car... i wonder if i dont top up at all will i get my car during the last bid.. only God knows i guess... i think they are not desperate for my biz so they are willing to let me go anytime, got it at a v low price -

I think TC has alot to answer to their customers if this is the position they take. When I first signed up, I was also concerned of such practise, but was assured that TC is a reputable biz and that they do not resort to such tactics. If they really do fail in their final bid... I'll be extra vigilant when I deal with them in the future. It's distasteful.
Contracts require faithful performance from both parties. If you've been faithful in paying their monies, I do not see why they cannot keep to their part of the bargain at all, as long as they do not make a loss. -

Anyway, isn't full tank about 35l assuming u pump when light's up. then it'll be about 14km/l...
think it's a lot on driving habits... think i'm quite light footed and i hit 500km ++ consistently on full tank, record was abt 540km i think. then again, i mostly drive on highways.

500++ is very once in a blue moon, probably, when I switch off air- con.
No idea about how 92 can give you better mileage, but if it does, it's better, as it'll be cheaper. -
