  Hi guys...
  
  I'm selling my Trust Gracer Airinx-GT drop-in air filter for Nissan March K12.
  Very new due to low mileage. Used for ard 3000km and bought from Japan when I went there earlier this year. My car is OPC therefore very low mileage, now coming to one year but total mileage is only ard 6700km. Reason for change is due to going to Japan again next month (for Tokyo Auto Salon ) to get another filter, the open pod Blitz Sus Power, and a few other "stuffs" for my K12...

  It's a high performance metal gauze filter and doesn't need any filter oil or cleaning kits like K&Ns. You can feel the difference in weight when u hold the filter.
  
  Please note: So far I can't find any drop-in filters from Japan brands over here that is for our model but in general it is in the same range as the Trust,HKS, Blitz and Apexi drop-in element filters that you can find in Autobacs selling from $79 onwards only for other car models (parts from Japan tuning brands for our model are scarce over here) so of course if anyone can find pls also share info with us/me on place to buy and pricing. Most things/stuff fitted on my car are bought in Japan including side mirrors, tail-lights, lowering springs...

  i went to autobac some day ago looking for the touch-up paint pen....but they couldnt find the colour for my car....it is C41....do you now where else do they sell the pen??

  seriously... our k12is one good engine bLock .... very 'chng-able'/modifable....
  
  esp on lowered springs /coilovers... nice revvy engine ... plenty can be done to bring out extra oooMph.... wonder who's the luck new owner of SFZ 4 1 6 0

  4WD = 4 wheel drive. All Singapore cars are front wheel drive only as with most Japanese cars. 4WD is offered in some European countries that have slippery winter conditions.

  Personally, I'm hesitant to squeeze too much out of the engine. The car I had before this was a Vios. Excellent engine also and light (less than 1ton) just like the March. Some could do 0-100km/h in 9+ secs in factory condition. In fact, the VOGS group used to organize Vios (friendly) races in Pasir Gudang! Took very good care of it, but I sold it after 18 months to take my current March. In the days before handing it over to TC, I drove it like a maniac -- hi-rev launch from traffic lights, keeping the rpm over 4000 to maximize the power band, etc. The day I drove it to TC, the engine sounded like it was 10 years old! Loss of power was also noticeable.
  
  I think if the car is not designed for hard driving, then better not push it too much...

  any recommendations on where to service my dear march. I'm hitting my 30,0000 mark! i used to service at Tan Chong but i think it's too painful for my wallet!!!

  I did my 20k at Autosaver. They have 2 outlets I believe, 1 in Sin Ming, another in Kaki Bukit. They are about 30% cheaper. Professional and they claim to use genuine parts.
  
  I'm nearing my 30k also, probably by end Jan.
  
  I've heard some seniors advise to do 40k, 80k and 120k at TC, so that in event of "shit happens", they will cover warranty. Any ideas if this is wishful thinking?

  Reaching my 10k servicing soon! i think probably this had been asked before, but sorry if i am being lor soh or lazy, jus want to ask whther is this the time to change to fully synthetic oil? n what is recommended? brand? type? how about the one sold in TC motors? hmmmm

  my next service is also 10K...but why for 10k service they got write by when must go for service regardless whether you reach the 10K mark?

  Technically service intervals are by distance travelled and time used, so that cars that are rarely used are still serviced regularly. For Jap cars, it's usually 3months or 5000km for mineral oil, and double that for synthetic oil (6mos / 10,000km), whichever comes first.
  
  The Germans are now on 15,000km / 1 year service intervals (BMW, Porsche, Audi) but I still think 10,000km/6mos is the best. The Germans don't even have the run-in periods i.e. 1000km and 5000km! First service recommended by the German makers is 15000km...

  Just go fully-synthetic at 10k. The extra $60 or so will make your car perform so much better. The engine hums smoothly along like it's on butter. TC recommended synthetics should be fine.

  I don't have the specifics right now but you can refer to your owner's manual. There's a page near the back end where they tell you what is the capacity for the engine oil. From my memory, it should range ard 4L. Which is approx. 1 bottle.

  Hopefully Nissan organizes a driveaway. Dealer organized trips tend to be well-planned and have extra goodies, as it's part of their marketing program.
