is the scratch deep? or surface scratch? if its surface can use polish to remove. last week i called my SE, she said dun have touchup paint. but during service can ask them touch up if u want but usually its quite terrible job...
i oso heard u can bring ur own bottle ask the service ppl to give u some paint to paint urself.. -

Anyone selling their K11 auto March?

hi guys i got my new nissan this week im from the uk but i go to singapore quite often im not sure you get the c+c in sg yet but hes a quick report of it.
Its fantastic its 1 quick micra the 1.6 engine rocks. with the top up its a great coupe and the top down what can i say it rocks!!!!!! the interior is well built solid and stylish.
its an addictive car i love it, this car will really grow on anyone who owns one my personal opinion is its the ultimate micra nippy handles well stylish and economical nissan got it right with the c+c

Singapore is a very small market and cars are super expensive. There are about 500,000 cars on the road, and annual sales doesn't reach 100,000 cars. As a result, we don't get all the niche models available elsewhere. Nissan tried to position the March previously as a higher-end creative fun car (e.g. Mini, Fiat 500) but failed miserably. They are now positioning it as a cheap entry-level runabout car. We don't have the C+C here, and I doubt it will sell well here, which may seem strange to residents of colder climes since we have sun most of the year. Only the high-end drop-tops sell well here such as the Saabs, Merc, Audi, BMW, and Mini convertibles. The Opel Tigra, Megane, Peugeot cc sell few units. Even the Honda S2000 is very niche.
Enjoy your C+C. Did you consider the Daihatsu Copen?

i must admit the last convertable car i had was an mr2 roadster but i needed more space 2 seats were not enough and i had my eye on the c+c since it came out so the copan was not really in the running for me, after the mr2 i bought a beetle but i missed the open top so in the end i said its got to be the nissan so i went and got 1 and i would'nt trade it for a mercades i love it so much.

Heh, just came back from a weekend in KL. Got a chance to try a couple of things in the March. Going up the NS Highway, I tried to max the FC. So stayed between 80-90km/h, gradual pickup and slowing down. Got 23 km/l !! Me personally I haven't pushed mine beyond 110km/h. Haven't had a chance to push on the NS Highway yet...
Coming back, I tried higher speeds to test handling. Up to 140km/h, the car was humming along. More than that, the engine is working hard. Handling was far better than expected, car was stable and steering still had decent feel at 140km/h. FC down to 17km/l though...
All FC measurement is purely highway i.e fill-up at beginning and end of highway to calculate FC. Impossible to get these numbers in Singapore city driving. Our average here is about 13km/l. Car 100% stock incl. 14" steel wheels.
At high speeds, there was a lot of road noise, but the engine was surprisingly quiet.
A nice bonus was we got a lot of smiles and waves from other cars passing us, especially kids who must find an AirBlue bubble-looking car very cute. They would stick their necks out to take a better look and giggle.

most i done in my march/micra is 160 kph but i do have a 1.6 litre engine so its not to hard to do and on uk roads you can travel quite quick

anyone of u guys install exhaust finisher before?
TC parts and accessories dept said nobody (in japan or sg in nissan) can answer whether the exhaust finisher that i want to order from Japan could fit my K12 cos its SG specs.
so if i want to order i will order at my own risk... -_-'

The strange thing is our SG models are 1.4L comes with a bend exhaust.
Base on the pic, it says the bend exhaust is for 1.2L and the straight one is for 1.4L. I think the straight one looks better!
Any of you guys' marchie's using the straight exhaust?
I am worry that if I order this exhaust from japan cannot fit my marchie.
Btw Japan nissan website has more parts n accessories info/photos than our local nissan website.
But we can order thru local nissan parts n accessories dept if we want. -
im betting if it will fit a march it will fit any march how different can they be?? we get straight exhausts in uk
