i think DTM actually stands for the name of the event the car was made for, it is some sort of german touring car championship. theres actually quite a few german car companies that make DTM cars, it just so happened that merc decided to make a road legal version for their CLK DTM

Yep I saw that S600 at HV before, checked on the 1motoring site and it's the real deal. I've seen another one before in dark red as well. Wonder if they're the only '6' series Mercedes in SG, unless there are other '600' or '65' cars here?

im amazed u heard the turbo of the clk dtm amg kick in.. cause the dtm amg is powered by a supercharged v8 engine and not turbocharged. and superchargers do not "kick in" as there is no such thing as "super lag," unlike turbocharged cars which have turbo lag, and after awhile the turbo starts to "kick in" like wad u said.Originally posted by Haoz30:This car sounds as amazing as it looks. If it's a real S600, why it doesn't have the original dish design chrome wheels? This wheel doesn't look right. yeah, i can see what you mean. i'm guessing maybe US spec S600s might only have them? hey, i recall someone earlier talking about a crazy looking yellow car seen somewhere (which people replied saying it might be that yellow lotus thing) well i think i might know what they're talking about. just on the way home down jalan jurong kechil there was this crazy car right infront. was behind him for a bit before he u-turned to enter autobacs. the wheels are GIGANTIC and the total car is so low that theres only about 15cm from the top of the wheels to the top of the car (yes, thats how obscenely low it was). the wheels have massive amounts of negative camber (top of wheels tilted towards each other) and it had a bit of an old race car look going on. suspected to have a VW engine and i think its some form of a kit car (or atleast i suspect) too bad i was so overwhelmed by its crazy looks that i forgot to take note of the #plate. but it was sg registered. no brands/badges or what so ever on the car
anyone else seen this around? -
