15 yrs ago when a norma 1.6 car can cost around 100k, they say owning a car means you are rich.
Now 1.6 car cost around 50k, they still stay you are rich..y? Coz can pay for all the stupid ERPs, Summons, parking charges, etc etc...
Even if road tax discount 8%, they got that covered from the ERPs.
Now still says must pay more to retain the "outstanding" minis-ster.
The public will be the one coughing out more $$.
So when the next GE comes, you all should know who to vote..right?
Time to scrap the car..which is what I am doing end of this mth.

None of these issues of price increase arose during our 2006 elections. No talk of sucking money, only giving. The progress package has caused a huge budget deficit and there you have it, these are just some of the ways to recover it.
Vote wisely the next election. -
If every worker can be late for work, then most prob. can elimate cars, public transport, simi ERP or taxes....
If boss ask how come you everyday late, can tell him that no $$$ to buy car & no $$ for public transport, so, walk to work...

maybe companies can help by adjusting the reporting time -

1) Working hr that start after ERP hr and end before ERP restart
2) All bao car allowances
3) Private Jet
4) Move their office to ur house lor.. -
The problem with this government is that they have run out of ideas or they are too lazy to come up with good ideas.
They heck care if people suffer and they simply increase prices.
They know that they cannot and will not be able to be so lazy and yet take millions in salaries if we have an opposition that can offer less onerous alternatives.
Being dishonorable despots that they are, they destroy prominent opposition figures, discourage people from standing for elections and discourage people from joining opposition parties.
So the way to go is to vote in any opposition candidate to build up the opposition in Singapore.
When people see that Singaporeans are willing to support the opposition, more people will join the opposition.
Don't be fooled by the despots and wait for "perfect" opposition candidates before you vote them. Vote in the opposition candidates that are not perfect so that better candidates will be willing to stand, next time.
They other way is to make sure we kick out a couple of ministers, especially those that come in from the back, through cronyism. -
