Why is Nissan Sunny so cheap?

jus checking,
when i drive my auto car on a gentle declining slope, i let go of the gas pedal..
i notice at the begining of the cruising the Tachometer is at ~2200rpm. after 3-4 sec, it dropped to 1100rpm..at the times speed is constant at ~60 kmh.
i presume the car is at 3 gear..does this means the transmission is actually at half engage or totally disengage after 3-4 sec of non throttle?
any1 got similar encounter in their auto car?

nissan,toyota,honda are all cheap cars i think.....only benz,bmw and other cars are expensive

i've noticed that its that case in most automatic cars i've seen. at cruising, you let go the pedal and the engine speed drops to slightly about idle level after a few seconds. in science, its does sound like the engine is disconnected from the transmission... if the engine speed drops while at speed.

BMW and benz or expensive to start off with... its not that the dealer purposely jack up the price of the car...
even if they do.. i am sure car dealers at the lower end of the market wld do the same....

price are fixed that way, consider luxury? More expensive normally means good..... But in terms of luxury i believe alot cars can be on a fair competition too. If you wanna talk about power, that 1 cant compare lah...
