Mz rank lumber 6 tell yr story, 21,000 units behind lumber 1 and 14,000 units behind lumber 2 in year 2007. Even in yr 05,06 Mz is far behind.

i say FC is not the entire peekture when it comes to pple choosing cars...
there are other factors like brand loyalty, car looks, blah blah blah...

who ( the mass market ppl, not rich ppl) buy car for look, function, spacious cabin, comfort, or even show off. ...i can say very very small % only.
I believe sgporean, very pratical type, car is to move from A to B. will you pay so much attention to other factor except praticality. FC is a huge praticality.
now cost of living rising, most ppl would be prudent to save here and there...FC is no exception,,
mind you, im talking about ordinary ppl on the street, not those car fanatic/enthaustic who spent big time on their vehicle. -

u juz take a stand and goes by it.. u dun consider both sides...
yes FC is a huge factor.... but u make it seemed like practicality = FC
practicality also means reliability, price, four doors big boot...
also there are also other factors like brand recognition, brand loyalty, image, looks... u rarely see a 20+ driving an altis do u.. unless its his father's car....
get this.. for entire year of 2006 the top 3 models in terms of sale is:
1. altis
2. sunny
3. vios
sunny is notorious for its FC... why izzit still doing up there??? if going by ur saying is true... sunny's sales figures wld be in the dumps....

If 1 can affort a car now, be prepare to pay lot of $$ for ERP. So FC may be 1 reason but reliability is another key factor for car buyer to think cos spare parts can be very ex for some car that share the same platform as conti car.
Even u can say ppl like Mz3, I can tell u Wish can win Mz3 in term of sale.
If u drove both car to MY, they will only eyeing at Wish rather a Mz3.
