Having my Class 3 test soon

Waa very scared sia.. although still got a week but I very scared fail and waste money.
My parking not very good, for parallel is okay but always not straight
crank course is okay but not so okay for s course.
anyone can give me some tip anot?
on the road I am above average except I tend to lag behind the car in front of me and my car usually is closer to the centre line, because i cannot see my left so i scared strike kerb.

TIP - regard the tester as your father.
and your father told you this...
"Boy, 30mins only okay. if you good, i let you drive my car on your own."
then u must impress your father lor. -
today will be the 20th. tmr 21st then next week having 3 or 4 lor. so should be 24 to 25 lessons maybe

Since you know ur negative points just try to improve on them lo.
And it would be good if you can repeat the instructions that the tester handed out to you. So you and him are clear at all times.
Most importantly, be a safe driver. A safe driver is a good driver.

offer the invigilator "special favours".

when u turn left, u scared strike kerb right. Just remember everytime u make a successful left turn, where was the imaginary straight line between the kerb and the car before u turned? Was it at half the car door behind? or wherever u remember.

to solve this problem, make sure what u see at the front dashboard and side door of your view are parallel with whatever things u can find to compare (kerb, walls, anything outside your car) And of course, lots of practise.

Its very normal to lag behind other cars because you are not going speed of excess 60kmh. Your speed for the test (on road) should be below 60kmh.

To solve this, try to vision yourself slightly off centre of the lane. Or, in another words, your steering wheel slightly off the centre imaginary line of a lane.

same la, i fail on my first attept, circuit 2 point, outside road tio one immediate fail. zZZZZZZZZZZZZ.
next week retest liao. and very bad timing... at 730 warm up 825 test. i go prepare fail one.

Nothing to afraid of la, just be confident and be humble to the TP

lol... I learned a total of 31 practical lessons, spending 2K+.
The TP test will be upcoming tuesday morning. Not much confidence to tell you the truth, since my driving skill like cannot make it.
But I hope I can pass.
P.S - First timer.
Some Problems:
1) Driving sometime too near to road side.
2) Turning too late, thus become too sharp (90 degrees) My instructor will say "you think you are doing crank course ar?"
3) Sometime never check blind spot or rear view mirror
Justing seeing the above problem, I think cannot make it liao.
But parking and stuffs mostly likely no problem. Hmm, I cap myself at 50km/h for main road and about 40km/h for those small road. -
you know ya bad points so ask your instructor to concentrate on those areas... spend more time doing the parkings and also the S course lor... sometimes the circuit is you have to go by feelings de lor... take your time dont any how turn... later turn too early or too late... ai zai...be confident.. can de la... no problem...
The main problem is only the car that u use for test... if the car and you got no feel then tat is the main problem and also the tester... some of them look F**cking fierce... but dont be affected by all these... just tel yourself do ya best.. ok?
Some times you kana immediate failure dont worrk, cause if you do other things very well can pass de... its not always fail for sure.. I got a fren who went thru the test without the seat belt and yet she passed ok??...

Okay, had another lesson today. Was okay, vertical improved but when doing parallel, 2nd time i strike kerb down -_-
the rest okay, s course and crank course not bad liao, at least for crank course but i tend to oversteer then got the "thud" sound.

And my steering not steady, i will like shift slightly to the left and right like in maximum tune. don't know why. my arms is almost at 90 degrees

And when you at 50km/h and the junction in front is red light and i just shifted to gear 4, really must engage low gear until 2?
I always just gek siao clutch in step brake shift to 3 but stil clutch in then shift to 2 and stop

U have to position your seat properly to avoid that awkwardness in driving.

No need ba...I always stop at 3rd gear when stopping on main roads....I dun shift down further anymore... so long u put it to 1st gear once you stop and get the half-clutch ready before you start moving...

If 9 and 3 is ok and safe for you..then go for it... the tester will not be so pciky to that extent...there more impt things for him to look out for.
Is this your first time TP?
