THANKS PEEPS!
now u can apply PDL and book FTT. U can start to learn to drive now while u wait for FTT. Once u pass FTT, book a TP immediatedly and continue to learn driving until your TP date.
U need private instructor, i got lobang. But it depend which driving centre u prefer. My lobang for u is in YCK area, test at SSDC.
why not u just go to the driving center to take the practice

Hi there.
Erm if i'm not wrong it costs $5++ to practice once, and it would be more convienient to practice from home/sch.
Thanks.
i just pass FTT fews days ago, on the 19th Feb to be exact.
maybe you can read this thread. HERE
here's one site which ask you to pay abit to practice till siao (this is what i heard), http://www.aceonline.com.sg/
or if you want more, search FTT at yahoo or google.
GOOD LUCK! =)
oh ya, i live in the west too, kinda near to bbdc.
oh, so you're from bbdc.
im from there too.
actually they have a practice booklet for private students, but only 1 booklet, 50questions and no more.
you got to book for it, i donno how but you can call bbdc to ask.
the room for practice is at room 7, level 3
school students get around 500+ questions to practice.
it's an advantage lah. lol
omg limpper, thanks alot! you've been very helpful!! thanks again!!
np =)
for practices
private candidates are only entitled to 1 booklet, which is 50 questions, so don re-book again and again.
unless you feel like doing the booklet just to practice again.
wont be expensive though, should be ard $2+ or $3+, i forgot alr.
just call bbdc and ask can le =)
good luck for your FTT ![]()
i've registered @ singaporetests.com, quite cheap man, $12.90 for 130 days! can't wait to get it done..
but can't find instructors yet, maybe tml i'll google to find out more. going to sleep already, thanks again limpper!
maybe you can consider enrolling into bbdc, will be abit more expensive than private ones, but surely will learn better.
that's what i think. lol.
take care, good night ![]()
Private ones doesnt mean cannot learn as much as school.
For me i am private de. I pass on my first attempt, 2 demerit pts on my TP. It shows private instructor do wan their ricebowl too and thus will teach properly too de. It really up to individuals how fast they absorb what is taught la. The most impt thing is to practise alot and not be kan jiong.
i spent just a bit over 1k, about 1065, to get my license.
if cost is your concern, choose private.

Sorry may I ask, what's apply PDL? I believe is the provisional driving license.
I thought I would need to pass my FTT before I can apply for that L plate thing?
Can book FTT and apply PDL concurrently one arh?
Thanks.
that is correct.
U can book FTT and get PDL both at the same time becos u already got BTT.

nope, passing the btt means you can apply for a PDL alr.
which allows you to drive on the road with the L thing
ya, ftt and PDL can do it together one, PDL takes only around 30mins to get.

i think so too.
i just got my weeks ago, $25.
Hah. Where can I get the PDL? At BBDC can? I only know FTT can be booked online which I already did.
Anyway I'm also taking private. Looking for instructors now too. BBDC de.
Haha.

it all depends on which kind of instructor you choose.
from what i head is you cant change right?
ya, so if the one you kana you don like, then no choice le.
cost wise surely private is better, but learning environment wise i would prefer school myself.

ok, to apply PDL at bbdc
go up to the 2nd storey where you see the tp counters, it should be obvious in sight as the first thing you will see once you come up is those counters.
take a form, fill it up
take a no.
q-up, wait for your no. to be called
give the auntie your ic and the form,
do your eye check
done.
wait for your pdl,
once again wait to be called
called again alr, paid $25 via cashcard or nets
then take PDL and you're done.
or if you're not sure at all, go to bbdc and ask them.
the tp counters will be open at office hrs
Oh oh. So I can apply for the PDL once I finished my BTT. Means I can drive in the circuit.
Once I finished my FTT, booked for the practical test and continue learning until the practical test right?
And also once I finished my FTT means I can go on the road with my PDL arh?
Oh oh. I didn't know that. I was stupidly waiting for my FTT to come.
actually i think there's not a really a need to have much practice for FTT. if u apply FTT from school, there'll be a practice before the actual test, n i feel that's enough. what's more impt is reading the FTT book n u're bound to pass it. dun have to waste the $ to take practises.

you can already go on road upon having your PDL
which means passing your btt will allow you to be on the road alr.
circult doesnt require you to have a PDL. the PDL is for you to go on road
