taxis love to stick to the right for that little while more after overtaking someone on the middle lane just to hold back traffic a little and live up to their infamous reputation. something like that. don't believe it when they claim it's in the interest of safety, making sure there's ample space before they cut back into the middle
but seriously, the jokers who take the right at 90 when _both_ the middle and left are clear and there're shitloads of people on their tail. without name-calling, the predominately "value-for-money" cheapest japanese compact sized cars of netural colours would decieve themselves thinking it's a right to stick to the right since they're doing close to the legal limit. morons.
it's people like that who speed up instead of giving way to emergency vehicles, slam on their brakes at junctions without regards to vehicles behind them and ignorantly assume that they only have to give way to pedestrians at destinated crossings only.
sticking to the letter of the law dosen't make a driver right. ensuring a pleasant drive and no accidents for all involved, morons included, makes a good driver. -

Matrix is overtaking Sunny in sales because it is affordable, and i admit i cannot afford one .... so if i am going out of job soon i might change to a second matrix, in singapore, Practical seems to be in the most mind set of people who buys car.

but there's a reason why nissan is the best selling brand here when toyota beats the crap out of everyone elsewhere in the region. cars here are just too expensive.
if that's the case, korean cars should be no 1 but isn't the case. think abt that. another simple reason. korean products are not built to last by design. koreans are great at fast moving consumer products and that mentality means their products only last 3 to 5 yrs.
but in sg where cars cost an arm and a leg and you have to drive it for 10 yrs, i don't think korean cars are suitable. better off with japs i think... -
I fully agree that there are too many drivers with the bad habit of hogging the overtaking lane.
Just the other day, when I was rushing to Changi Airport to pick up a guest, this NTUC taxi driver was deliberately and conciously blocking my way after which I flashed him move him out of the overtaking lane and this action further encouraged him to block my way all the way from Paya Lebar to the Tampines cutoff.
Sometimes, it is not taxi drivers but people who do not know that the lane is for overtaking and not keeping to the 90 speed limit.
I think we need to educate these drivers. -
eh ... damn today when i was coming back travelling on the ecp at around 6pm ... during that time there was a traffic jam ... this car infront of me keep flashing his brake lights .... damn irritating, the front car did not even stop or brake at all! i think this guy is a paranoid man ... really cannot stand lor.
i manage to over take him and go to his front and do the same back to that a**hole and after that i slow down to the middle lane ... he still continue his nonsense .... *sigh* -
