just to point out 1 of the pics i posted or url-ed. the skyline has a customized car plate that sort of tells others it's make and model.
i think tristan knows what i mean...the blue skyline pic..
frankly speaking i find that idea of the car plate bearing the model name of the car abit weird, duhz or wahtever -

you could put out the pictures for people to view, if you feel like doing so.
i have no objections to that.
as for the license plates, i thought they were mostly overseas plates anyway. so i never really thought of blanking them away.
well, as for the skyline's plate, i feel that it's actually a good idea to practice here in singapore.
firstly, for the government's revenue.
secondly, i believe many people will like to customise their plates with words and numbers.
well, about putting your model name like 34Vspec or even CivicR, or Sillyka.
Yes, it seems pretty redundant.
I've seen many really nice ones, like "Born To Run", "RexEater", V8eater, all from Australia.

The mercedes pictures are mostly from the Mercedes Mueseum in Stuttgart Germany, except for one S-class which was a taxi i saw in Zurich.

sometime ago i saw this white sti w/ black hood in my sch..then a few days ago..i saw it travelling within sch and it was driving annoyingly(to the driver i presume) slow behind this sch bus...
then after it exited from my sch..i saw it hurtling down the straight road parallel to my sch and it too had a damn nice BOV sound ( i was on the overhead bridge abv tat road) as it was changing gears...

yah i was at the museum and you cannot imagine how many mercedes there are inside the compound.
basically, no one can drive in there and park.
the public have to park outside and take the shutter bus in.
the museum is just one building of the mercedes hq.
apart from the mercedes cars you see inside, the rest of the cars outside the building in the carpark are 95% mercedes,
and you cannot imagine how many amgs are there...
belonging to the staff mainly.
it's a pity though cos the porsche museum is also in stuttgart, but i didn't get a chance to go there. maybe next time. -
