Cons:

Pro of converting a cd/mp3 headunit to a VCD player is cheaper then buying a set that comes with VCD function. But by doing so you will void the warranty of your headunit and also , a mod headunit will not last longer then a originally VCD headunit and most Audio shops provides this service.

So what happens later would be upon our own decision-making.
The shop will provide 1 yr warranty of the Unit after installation.
The Chip or decoder was told bought frm an authorise manufacturer...
lets say yrs in a Sony so a compatable Sony chip will be used then... n so on...
This is something new to me too...
What I want to know is if u hv any lobang of such mod in S'pore
so as to check the authenticity of it if avaiable...
Lets spread the word around.
If its realiable enough...would'nt it be great for the families -
