That time,
I wanted to go JE. Wah,
Best thing was, they flood the RATIS with advertisements.
After that, all i saw was, 7 Mins - Jurong East.
LoL, means before that, should be more than 7 mins, coz the advertisements all show for quite a long time.. Not bad huh SMRT... hahahha

Train Bunching
Excellent frequency for circle line
No prize for guessing whether they did really happen or not..
Is this taken on 28 May afternoon?

Hehe. Saw this many times liao.
Got a question here. Does SMRT intentionally bunch trains? Cos I always see them coming at intervals of 4min, 2min, 4min, 1min, 3min, 1 min during peak hours. The 1st train will be super packed but the 2nd one will have standing space.

I think is on 29 may afternoon.
Wat does train bunching means??
Sry guys I need some help... I'm searching for CCL's train operating hours but instead discovered that SMRT website hasn't been updated to include CCL ? http://www.smrt.com.sg/trains/train_timings.asp
What I need is:
Serangoon - First & Last Train
Marymount - First & Last Train
Anybody off-hand remembers them?

It will be completed by 2015.
It is actually:
EW30 - Build near existing Tuas flyover. Station location is proposed along Tuas Rd / Tuas Ave 3 / Gul Circle junction, beside the SPC petrol kiosk. Station track at least 20m above ground. This is an interchange with future Tuas South extension.
EW31 - Integrated with future road viaduct along Pioneer Rd. Station location is proposed along Pioneer Rd / Tuas Crescent / Tuas Ave 2 junction. Station track at least 20m above ground.
EW32 - Station location is proposed along Pioneer Rd / Tuas West Rd junction.
EW33 - Station location is proposed along Tuas West Drive near Raffles Marina. This is the terminal station.
Note the locations of the stations are under planning and not confirmed, wait for official press release.

wonder why EW30 is chosen as the interchange instead of EW32.
32 seems nearer to tuas south

In the long term, Tuas Rd will be extended into Tuas South after land reclamation.

When will they begin construction?

Expected to start construction in end 2010 or early 2011, to complete by 2015.
why do trains at harbourfront go into -not in service mode- unlike the North south / east west lines where you can sit in the train and it'll continue its journey in the reverse direction? then the train will continue travelling towards sentosa!!!! after harbourfront, the tracks don't stop?
Does C151 has ATO/ATC ?
According to Wikipedia,
C651 is the only trainset without ATC, it only has ATP. While C151 and C751B, has both ATC and ATP.
ATC: Automatic Train Control (ATC) is a train protection system for railways, ensuring the safe and smooth operation of trains on ATC-enabled lines. Its main advantages include making possible the use of cab signalling instead of track-side signals, and the use of smooth deceleration patterns in lieu of the rigid stops encountered with the older ATS technology. ATC can also be used with Automatic Train Operation (ATO). There are several implementations and versions of ATC, and each is different.
ATP: This system uses a target speed indication and audible warnings to warn the train driver if they are likely to exceed a speed profile that will cause the train to pass a red signal or exceed a speed restriction. The system will apply the brakes if the driver fails to respond to these warnings. The system takes into account the speed and position of the train relative to the end of its 'movement authority' in issuing the warnings and applying the brakes.

There's a turnabout track after Harbourfront which stops after a length of 6 cars of the train. The trains go there and turnabout back to Harbourfront after 1 or 2 minutes. This happens during peak hour and this happens to not obstruct other trains.
