Time passes. Now, the Boon Lay Extension stations have opened and in the future, Marina Bay extensions (for NSL and CCL) and Tuas extension.

Dover MRT was built to facilitate SP students to take the MRT to Singapore Polytechnic. Construction began along the viaduct in 1999 whereby trains continue to pass thru the construction site between Buona Vista and Clementi stations.
