Coffeeshop gets 5-star ratings for toilet cleanliness
For the first time, a coffeeshop has achieved 5-star ratings for its toilet cleanliness.
The coffeeshop in Tampines got the rating in the Best 5-star Happy Toilet category at the LOO (Let's Observe Ourselves) Carnival at the National Library today.
Speaking at the carnival, Minister of State for the Environment and
Water Resources, Dr Amy Khor said that the Inter-Agency Working
Committee or IAWC, which was formed to look into ways to improve public
toilet standards, has submitted a report on its findings and
recommendations to the government.
Consisting of 30 organisations including NEA, PUB, and HDB, the IAWC gathered feedback and ideas for improving cleanliness standards of public toilets in Singapore.
