STOMPer Jay Park questions why this male student from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, seen sporting a ponytail, is allowed to have such an extreme hairstyle.
The STOMPer wonders whether the school has any rules and regulations in place that forbid students from sporting such 'extreme hairstyles'.

this is not a new issue faced by NP or any other school as far as our history of education is concerned, every generation has a new look... what is important is how the academia builds and develops good character and not the hairstyles, which comes into focus when you leave school and look for a job where the company is particular with image and these fresh graduates would learn to adapt to society than taking it on their own... we could well have dozens of bespectacled decent looking guys or someone who talks Buddhism or dress like a monk but raping girls in the dark... it is more a question of building their character than hairstyles the schools should be concerned...
