The one at the Beach Rd hawker centre, where they sell army things on the upper floors (opposite Golden Mile Shopping Centre), is very good. The stall is situated at the basement. This stall, together with the one at Serangoon Rd coffee shop near the junction of Balestier Rd, were rated the top two in Singapore by food columnists in the New Paper years back. The Serangoon Rd stall used to be situated in another coffeshop on the opposite site of the same road closer to Balestier Rd where the old man used to sit down on a stool and fried the noodle over charcoal fire. They used those light brown leave for wrapping the food. Another very good one is at the Old Airport Rd hawker centre called Nam Seng. This stall used to be at the Simon Road market which was torn down many years back to make way for road widening and the MRT contruction.
