  liang ji teochew restaurant, used to be at ellenborough market, now relocated to somewhere near riverwalk, nearest landmark is robertson square, alot of eateries there one.

  i always go these few places for grandma/grandpa bday
  
  Noble House for ala carte buffet
  Miao Yi for vegetarian
  Roland for chilli crab
  No Signboard for seafood

  how many person? or how many table?
  need private room or not?
  smoker any? some air con room can smoke during makan.

  brother...budget dunnid one. ppl ah...29. private room...need or dunnid oso can. smoker confirm got, but onli 1. dun think will smoke on tt day

  If you don't mind the distance, this is a good place. food and embience is really good.. been there many times and have seen many celebration either for elderly or babies in the private room. Call to reserve the private room...

  all adult?
  last9 saw 2 tables adult & one table children @ No signboard Geylang.
  better if you get them to arrannge sit behind. can hold 4 tables.
  FOC parking facilities but pay car jockey only tips.

  much better than gim tim group of restaurants (yishun, YCK grassroot club)....which oso have ala carte buffet........
  
  in general, other tung lok restaurants oso quite good.....like lao beijing, ling zhi (vegetarian)

  lei garden in orchard shopping centre better than the one in chijmes
  Jade palace in forum also not a bad place
  Concourse jap food also quite good
  how about seafood in turf city.

  G7 sinma @ Geylang but
  you has to be early in order to get place for 29 person,
  they start from 4pm, crowd start around 6pm.
  go to their level 2, air con environment.
  locate @ lorong 3 geylang
