Dried Chicken Meat
Yummy chicken "bak kwa" that will surely be everyone's favourite snack.
Ingredients:
500 gram chicken meat
500 gram pork
For Gravy: 1 1/4 tblsp.fish gravy
175-200 gram sugar
1/4 tsp.five spice powder
1/2 tsp.saltpetre
2 tblsp.water
1 1/2 tblsp.soy sauce
1/4 tsp.pepper
2 tblsp.lard
1/2 tblsp.rose wine
Non Halal

Preparation:
Chop chicken meat and pork.
Season the meat mixture with gravy. Arrange thin layer of meat onto a big flat plate with small holes (for ventilation) such that they become a big, thin layer of meat. Leave it to dry. When dry, cut it into squares (about 10 cm in length).
Barbecue the square meat layers with burning charcoal until both sides are golden in colour. The barbecued slices can be stored in the freezer for up to several weeks.
anyone know what is saltpetre??and need rose wine?? is it a real wine or just some chinese spices?.. anyone very free go try ok.. if taste reasonable like bak kwa must tell mi ok.. i will go try when i free too..
