  Chicken is tender and tasty, somemore the garnish and sauce is just the right flavour.
  
  Boon Tong Kee, Wee Nam Kee are my favourites. Though Boon Tong Kee price went up my wallet size went down...

  you ever read about the mandrian chatter box chicken rice chief that quit.....he open one stall at bishan and paris ris....
  you might want to try at bishan st 22 ...

  Coffeshop near Tampines Regional Library. Just walk to a coffeeshop opposite the S11 Hawker Centre, look around and if you see more than 50% of the tables got this purple plate with what-looks-like chicken on it then you're at the right place.
  
  The chicken uber tender. The sauce shiokz. The price ok. The service is not self-service. The soup good. The rice yummy. Lol.

  the one in the coffee shop next to bishan interchange tastes fabulous!!! Not to mention it costs only $2.50 too, very economical it for the amount of meat and rice they give. Always got queue there
  
  Don't eat mandarin's chatterbox chicken rice anymore, its not worth the $24 odd bucks cos the original chef has left and it doesn't taste near as good anymore

  thought chicken rice is suppose to serve with cold chicken?
  it is a cold dish, rite? they boil the chicken than dump the chicken into cold water, after which they hang the bird to air dry.

  Yeah, we all agree on that cold, but definitely not unnaturally cold.

  I think it's bishan St 24, at Hawkerway food court, but my hubby say nothing special.

  I like cold chicken, coz then the layer of transparent jelly from the chicken will form....(actually, dunno what it is?)...nice to eat.

  dunno if its best but if u have time, go all the way to malacca and try the riceball chicken rice . drop by further up along the same street to eat some chendol.
