Dont go to min jiang at rochester park. Alot of issues need to be ironed out. The peking duck isn't as good as the min jiang at goodwoodpark. For holland V can try cafe rossi or fosters.

Nice ambience so don't expect it to be "cheap".

shayray punjab (north indian)
al - hamra (arabian)
pho hoa (vietnamese) the soup for steamboat is delicious, same goes for the beef.
katong laksa ( they have pretty good nasi lemak as well )
ipoh hor fun (its just beside katong laksa)
ya kun kaya toast ( its beside bee cheng hiang )
breko (24 hours on weekends and Pub Hols, food is averagely priced)
ok thats all i can think of for now.. =D -
I personally recommend Essential Brew-Tea Cafe and Restaurant. The calamari is nice, and my personal fave is the Fish n Chips. Oh yeah, try their ice tea drinks too, its their speciality
