Maaan, it really is a staple food, isn't it? We should be including it in our Ready bags soon.
Come on, most of us drink cups of it a day, if not by the gallon. Some of us would be more than thankful to be put on a coffee drip.
We drink coffee at home, in the office, in school, even when we're shopping or on a plain dinner date. Coffee is almost everywhere! ... well umm, except the bathroom.
So, what kind of coffee do you drink? Brewed from ground coffee beans? Instant powder coffee? Coffee granules? Coffee that comes in cans and carton packs? Or do you buy them from your neighborhood kopitiams and friendly coffee joints?
Where are the best places to get the freshest ground coffee for brewing?
Any special preferences for your sacred cup of coffee e.g. exactly 6 teaspoons of sugar and 3.7 ounces of milk? With whipped cream or powdered creamer?

kopitiam at my office, and then at the hawker centre, there's this stall called "ah lim"
we never fail to go there each morning and lunch...
in fact, morning, the food there is terrible but we still go there because of the coffee...
ah lim's coffee is about the best in the hawker centre

I'll start off!
Erm, actually I'm far from a connoisseur of coffee.
But I do love my cuppa!
My favorite is actually kopitiam coffee, because I have a lousy palate and need something as strong as Asian coffee to stimulate those buddies on my tongue. I love brewed coffee! I haven't found any coffee places serving brewed coffee that don't taste like ditchwater. So save me if anyone knows of any place with good, strong flavors! 
At home... at home... I have a variety of coffee ranging from instant 3-in-1s to flavored ground coffee from the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and coffee beans from Indonesia.
Usually I make myself a cup of low-sugar instant coffee with half a teaspoon of Blue Mountain coffee granules (that don't taste anything like good Blue Mountain).
When I feel like I've got nothing better to do, I'll whip out the good ol' coffee sock and brew some myself.
I think coffee is best drunk "raw" without sugar, or with as little sugar as possible.
But you know, when I started out with Starbucks, I used to order Iced Caffe Americano with loads of syrup. -

I think my love for coffee was developed when I was a little kid in kindergarten. My grandmother brewed coffee everyday and she would put it in this old-fashioned metal flask, then I'd take my small cup and pour some inside, then stir with condensed milk. -
i don't like condensed milk.. i like my kopitiam coffee very very slightly sweetened..
and as for expresso.. i like it by itself...
if it has to be milky and cold, i like with extra shots of expresso, chocolate (which makes it a mocha) and peppermint syrup... or hazelnut syrup is also good -

and ice coffee in classic tall glass, with ice cream and fresh cream...
at home i make my coffee from this:-
with 2 tsp of brown sugar and fresh milk
You can get AAA Mister Coffee from Giant... not from the coffee section, but the AAA Corner..... they have an exclusive counter...
it's the best alternative to kopitiam coffee.... i used to bring them back to Aus when I was there...... or my folks would send them to me... -
i rarely go kopitiams one.
always starbucks etc.
but, when i go to kopitiams, and IF i drink coffee, i order black coffee without any sugar at all.
i think the bitterness tastes fantasteek, even if my friends say i'm weird. -

Umm I've not tried Owl brand but I did try two other brands (they were given to me), of which one was Fairprice and the other I forgot which, but they taste funny. Like a blander version of Nescafe with sugar. I even tried putting two bags in one cup but didn't taste any nicer.
Err if you DO buy the Owl brand one maybe you can tell me if it tastes good -

i'm toying with the idea of buying an expresso machine and installing it in the office
but at about $700 a pop.. maybe not -

it's way better than Nescafe..... and i don't touch those 3-in-1 anymore, owl, super etc... they are undowntable
worth a try... i usually buy a big tin with 5 packets inside....... for a start, u can just get 1 pacekt to see if you like it (with 20 'coffee bags' inside), $2 something only....... cheap and GOOD!!! i bet you will finish them in no time
