If it's meat, i still prefer Brazil Churascaria. The variety and freeflow of lamp, ham, chicken, beef (oh good gawd the BEEF!) Chicken Heart, etc etc is still so YUMMY...

Last time i ate at Black Angus, i ordered the mixed appetizer plate..and it was filling enough

$100 ah? I think if you stretch it a little can go Hai Tien Lo or go Altivo lor. Weekdays not much people. Can take cable car up somemore.

Their steaks are good, but if your GF is not a steak lover and like them well done, please dont waste time, go somewhere else.

If not, you can try Harry's at Esplanade... Have your dinner over there and after meal, walk along the bayfront... Maybe can get a bouquet of flowers with a small chocolate cupcake with a candle for her, if you have spare money...

Black Angus has set lunch. It won't be as nice as the full priced a la carte one, but it's not bad and very affordable.

went to the one fullerton outlet a few weeks back

Many restaurants suffer from bad service. At least here in sg, good food or expensive price tags definitely do not guarantee good service. It's a spotty area which seems to apply to most places, not just restaurants.
My experience with the one at Orchard Parade Hotel was quite pleasant. The staff was polite and fairly prompt.
