Any Good Food to intro in Jack's Place??

  Jacks Place's range of beef tenderloin is good and tasty..but after a year of eating it(membership) its kinda boring...

  Up to you.
  Some people prefer ribeye, some tenderloin. If you want something softer, go for the tenderloin.
  
  Although it is on hotplate, it really depends on the chef. I have my steaks come medium rare to me on hotplate and sometimes it comes medium well to me even though I ordered medium rare.
  
  To be safe, order medium well if you do not like the taste of blood
  
  Actually for someplace more romantic, you can consider 'The Ship' too

  For a first timer, I think you'd enjoy either lah, to be honest. You've nothing to compare to anyway , right? LOL As such, Jack's Place is not fantastic but I think OK for a steak fix.

  But ribeye is quite small pcs rite? can it make mi full? The lobster bisque and shitake mushroom soup... which one is nice? and got which appetizer nice?

  ribeye ok la. I can't rememebr the weight they serve. Not necessary small.

  If you're concerned about portions of meat (although I guess we won't know the weight), perhaps the rib eye would look eerr bigger. Cos the tenderloin might come in those thick chunks which look smaller... and the middle part of the steak may be less cooked and thus bloody .

  I ate the food at The Ship in Penang before,and it was excellent.Whats more the whole place is ship-themed.

  Sizzler at TPY is pretty gd. The steak is always tender enough. What's more, there's free flow of spaghetti, soup, ice cream etc!

  Thanks for all you guys suggestion.... ytd nite is my bf anniversary... then i went there and have reservation... wow... i realli have a wonderful dinner lor... they give us sit sofa sit.. some more i go marina square eat... it is a new outlet.... from their front view of the restaurant, it look like those high class restaurant... coz they display their wine at the entrance there....
  
  then the stuff there is also friendly... u can try... the steak also is nice.... ytd i & my bf eat and drink:
  1) Shirley Temple- it is a mocktails and onli $4. It has taste of lime juice and sprite and dunno wat syrup...
  2) Singapore Sling- it is a cocktail... got put alcohol and got sweet taste... mi myself dun take alcohol but i like the taste.... onli $6
  3) Lobster soup w garlic bread-the lobster soup is super nice when it is hot and they give the lobster meat also quite generous plus the garlic bread dipped inside the soup is SUPER!!!
  4) Prawn & Mango Salad- only $8.50... with prawns(the prawns is sweet, NiCE!!), mango(the mango is abit sour and sweet) with combination with thousand island sauce is super!
  5) I eat N.Z. ribeye steak(200gm), potato change to fries... put black pepper sauce... i feel the sauce is nice but i like more sauce..... then the ribeye steak i order medium well, is very juicy and tender... i eat until the hotplate can no nid wash liao... haha.... only dunno is 17.50 or 18.50... cheap rite?
  6) my bf eat T-bone... which is one side is tenderloin and another side is loin... the loin part quite difficult to bite coz got lots of fats and he order medium well... the tenderloin is nice and he make his beef black mushroom sauce... taste somehw like HP sauce...
  7) then our dessert i order banana split and he order choc ice cream with almond nuts lor.... very nice.... then we choose coffee, i feel very bitter lor... like espresso like tis... so i put 4 pkt of sugar... haha... gonna kena diabetes liao....
  
  I realli enjoy the dinner we have... romantic candlelight dinner....
  we order 2 setmeal which include:
  2 soup of our choice, 2 dessert of our choice, 2 coffee or tea, 2 garlic bread...
  
  Total bill is $80.29 include of service charge and GST
  
  Should try eat at marina square jack's place... is realli nice.... realli alot nicer than tampines mall and causeway point....
