Sakae Sushi u spoil my day!

one time the rice put abit too much vinegar i asked the staff to bring back, rather do dat den later charge me for screwed up food.
their procedure are cocked up one, i sometimes waste food, dump them between plates and hide here and there, they never see properly they wld juz throw away one.
in short, they only care about surface protocol, but dun gif a damm about ur feelings. -
I thought i was the only one who felt that their rice not firm enuff...lousy skills

every small stalls in Giant or shopping malls selling sushi can do better

It is my first and last buffet at Sakae.
I kinda think we were targetted as we paid students' price. -
majority of the sushi masters here nt even fit to wash the utensils in a simple sushi restaurant u find in japan.

Gunkan means a battleship. In Japanese cooking, it indicates round sushi which is wrapped with seaweed and topped with ingredients such as salmon roe.Originally posted by Stooky:wats gunkan? -

Never had any exprience with Sakae Sushi, but had once with one Japanese Restaurant at Tampines, sort of near Tampines Mall i suppose, the rice was not firm at all, esp when you uses the chopsticks and try to pick the sushi up
, almost all the rice drop onto the plate.
Then, after that my mom tried to talk to the waiter and ask, the waiter just replied ''oh?'' and whatever so on. -
i went to eat sakae at bishan, and i was very fed their service. the managers staff. the staff "toss" the menus on the table i can see it silde man .
the managers take order 4get sia, wtf manager leh kaoz.
i will suggest u guys to go city hall, there got one sakae franchise one, service BETTER than the other sakae then add 8 bucks got free flow of sashimi.

Next time - just stuff urself until you vomit on the table . Then say maybe it's their food - and if they want to charge your vomit as wastage , tell them you are complaining to Environmental Health for spoilt food and make alot of noise. Guaranteed they sure try to hush u up . Maybe they even waive ur bill.

Sakae Sushi is th e"WORSE" sushi store in Singapore!
"Sakae" in Cantonese pronounce means "cave man" -
the rice is really bad. i went there a few weeks ago, the one at bugis. really, the rice just drop off when i tried to use my chop sticks to lift it up.

This is the first and last time I would be eating sakae sushi buffet. Somemore this happened when I want to give my bro a birthday treat. So angry I did not even finish my drink and left.
I think they should change their greetings to "we charge money for food wastage" instead of "irrashaimase".
