The Char Kway Teow is not bad. Some think it's the best. There is also a Hainanese Chicken Rice stall. Used to have a Poh Piah stall. No more there. That reminds me of a bad experience I went through at a Prawn mee stall there. I and my former colleague ordered the cheapest bowl of mee, and the woman assistant made some sarcastic remark about other people always ordering the higher price bowls. Then she promptly gave us the higher price bowls, then gave some sarcastic excuse about forgetting our order because she was too used to people ordering the higher price ones. Sorry, Lady, I will never patronize your stall again.
I've had enough of bad experiences with woman hawkers to convince myself that woman hawkers (especially the middle aged ones) in general are a stingy lot. -
Not sure if this is the same curry noodle store (Coz also got sell), but it is this Hong Kong noodle shop at the 2nd level, extreme corner store, extreme end. That couple sells fantastic fried chicken with noodle (dun really care much about the noodle). The fried chicken is fantastic tog with the chille, and when u want some laksa sauce over it, they are okay with it
