Try to get Australian imports at Cold Storage and NTUC Fairprice for your price range. Try something slightly sweet to compliment your meal with a woody taste, if you don't know what red will suit exactly your taste, ask the shop assistant to help you sort out the slightly sweet and woody.
pinot noir is also a red... SO just go for any red new world wine with the above taste. I hope it's meatball spaghetti else I would say go with fruity.Originally posted by rainee:alrite thanks...
so can just ask the shop assistant for merlot, with a slightly sweet and woody taste?![]()
if served with alfredo sauce, i tink i will go with white wine...Originally posted by FireIce:me like white wine when i eat pasta

Italian sausges tend to have pork and beef mixed in. It's your decision, we can only take a good guess and advise.Originally posted by rainee:hmm...i m still thinking if i shud include meatball or not...cos meatball got beef, and someone cannot eat beef![]()
so if just spaghetti and sausages + tomatoes sauce, go with fruity?

Watch the amount of basil leaves going into the spaghetti sauce or the woody taste of the red wine is going to clash.Originally posted by rainee:oh is it? hmm maybe have to stick to sausages which only have pork or chicken inside...![]()
Aunty FireIce, you mean alfredo and white wine sauce? I tend to add in garlic and lots of herbs for the sauce.Originally posted by FireIce:me like seafood pasta.......
toss in some clams, prawns, squids......
(if u like, u can soak them in white wine first)
